After the Orioles took a 5-4 lead in the top of the seventh inning, Ceddanne Rafaela tied the game with an RBI single before Caleb Durbin played the hero with a clutch go-ahead solo home run in the eighth that ultimately proved to be the difference in the 6-5 win, extending Boston’s winning streak to 14 games.

The Red Sox are expected to send 23-year-old left-hander Eduardo Rivera to the mound Tuesday night in what will be just his fourth career MLB appearance and third career start. Rivera allowed just two hits and no runs over his first seven major league innings but surrendered three hits, two walks, and three earned runs in 2.1 innings during his most recent start on July 17. The Orioles are expected to counter with veteran right-hander Kyle Bradish, who is 6-9 with a 3.61 ERA through his first 19 starts this season.
