NFL Week 2 Anytime TD Picks & Best Touchdown Bets for Sunday’s Late Window

As the early window of the NFL Week 2 slate winds down, it’s time to turn our attention to the late games and find some value.

Five matchups are on the docket Sunday afternoon, giving us plenty of options across the board. I’m targeting a mix of players coming off encouraging debuts, a couple of buy-low spots and one rookie offering a big number after making an immediate impact in Week 1.

Here are my favorite anytime touchdown picks for each game in Sunday’s late window:

Raiders vs. Chargers TD Prediction: David Njoku (+275)

First, a quick reminder: Raiders-Chargers is one of two late-window games kicking off at 4:05 p.m. ET, 20 minutes before the other three. If you’re following along Sunday afternoon, make sure to get this one in a little earlier.

The Chargers remain at home looking for a response after a disappointing 26-14 loss to Arizona, and I’m expecting a much better performance from Justin Herbert and this offense. If Los Angeles gets back on track and finds the end zone a couple of times, David Njoku offers the most attractive price among LA’s primary weapons.

Njoku didn’t go unnoticed in his Chargers debut, catching all five of his targets for 58 yards. Three of those receptions moved the chains, and he finished with 30 yards after the catch.

Ladd McConkey is also dealing with a rib injury and missed practice on both Wednesday and Thursday, potentially creating additional opportunities in the passing game.

You can get Quentin Johnston at +130 or Tre Harris at +220, but I’ll take my chances with Njoku at +275.

Jaguars vs. Broncos TD Prediction: Jaylen Waddle (+190)

Week 1 was about as bad as it could get for Jaylen Waddle and the Broncos.

Denver opened the season with a difficult road matchup against a Chiefs team looking to put last year’s disastrous season behind it, and the Broncos never found much of an offensive rhythm in a 31-10 loss. Bo Nix threw for only 131 yards, while Waddle finished his Denver debut with one catch for two yards on three targets.

That performance has led to plenty of criticism for Waddle both online and in the media, which makes this a prime buy-low opportunity as he makes his home debut at Mile High.

At +180, we’re still getting a generous price on a receiver of Waddle’s caliber if Denver’s offense can settle down and play a more typical game at home.

There’s also some encouraging history against Jacksonville. Waddle faced the Jaguars twice during his time with Miami, combining for 15 catches, 179 yards and two touchdowns. He caught 10 passes for 70 yards and both scores in their 2021 meeting before producing five catches for 109 yards against Jacksonville in 2024.

I’m willing to write off Week 1 and buy the dip here.

Seahawks vs. Cardinals TD Prediction: Jeremiyah Love (+190)

Jeremiyah Love already cashed at an even bigger price in Week 1, scoring on a 5-yard run in his NFL debut as Arizona went on the road as a hefty underdog and upset the Chargers.

The rookie finished with 11 carries for 41 yards and added two receptions, and now enters his first home game with the Cardinals, who are catching only a handful of points this time around against a division rival.

His anytime touchdown price has understandably dropped a bit from Week 1, but +185 still feels like a bargain for a running back with Love’s talent. If his role continues to trend in the right direction, there’s a chance we look back later this season and wonder how he was ever available at numbers this high.

Seattle’s defense is certainly a concern. The Seahawks held Rhamondre Stevenson to 51 yards on 18 carries in their opener, so this isn’t a matchup we’re attacking because of a weakness against the run.

Instead, I’m interested in how the game could unfold with Drew Lock making his first start of the season on the road. If Arizona can create a turnover or two and give its offense a short field, Love should have opportunities to find the end zone again.

Tyler Allgeier stealing a goal-line opportunity is also a legitimate concern, but at +185, I’ll take my chances and roll with the promising rookie for another week.

Commanders vs. Cowboys TD Prediction: Antonio Williams (+400)

The longest odds out of my picks in the late window belong to Antonio Williams, the rookie out of Clemson who did enough in his NFL debut to make +400 difficult to pass up.

Williams was arguably Washington’s most impactful wide receiver against Philadelphia, catching all four of his targets for a team-high 64 yards and his first career touchdown. Four targets isn’t a massive workload, particularly with veteran Stefon Diggs seeing nine, but Williams tied Terry McLaurin for the second-most targets from Jayden Daniels.

We also shouldn’t expect McLaurin to post another dud after being held to two catches for 14 yards in Week 1. There’s a good chance his volume ramps up against Dallas, but that’s exactly why the price on Williams stands out.

With McLaurin and Diggs both sitting around +200 to score, we’re getting +400 on a rookie who caught everything thrown his way, led Washington in receiving yards and found the end zone in his first NFL game.

Dolphins vs. 49ers TD Prediction: Mike Evans (+135)

We’re going right back to the well with Mike Evans after he found the end zone in his first career game not wearing a Buccaneers uniform.

Evans caught six of his seven targets for 49 yards and a touchdown as San Francisco rolled past the Rams in Australia. He tied Deebo Samuel for the team lead in receptions, while only Christian McCaffrey saw more targets.

More importantly for this market, the 49ers wasted little time putting Evans’ size to work near the goal line. Brock Purdy found the 6-foot-5 veteran for a 2-yard touchdown, one of his three touchdown passes in the game.

Now San Francisco returns home as a heavy favorite against a Miami defense that allowed Kirk Cousins to throw three touchdown passes in a 27-13 loss to Las Vegas in Week 1. If the 49ers control this game the way the spread suggests they should, there should be plenty of scoring opportunities for Evans and the rest of this offense.

Evans also has a strong track record against Miami from his Tampa Bay days. In three career meetings with the Dolphins, he has totaled 14 catches for 236 yards and three touchdowns. That includes a pair of scores in 2021 and another touchdown in his most recent matchup with Miami last December.

At +130, we aren’t getting the same long shot price as some of the other picks on this list. But Evans immediately established himself as one of Purdy’s primary targets and remains one of the most accomplished red zone receivers in NFL history.
