Week 6 concludes with an NFC matchup on Monday Night Football as the undefeated San Francisco 49ers (5-0) host the Washington Commanders (1-3-1) at Levi’s Stadium.
The 49ers are one of three teams still undefeated this season and will look to keep it that way Monday night. San Francisco already has notable wins over the Los Angeles Rams, Denver, and Seattle, establishing itself as a serious contender. In fact, the 49ers enter this matchup with the shortest Super Bowl odds (+450) at Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook.
Looking strictly at Washington’s 1-3-1 record to start the season, it may not seem like a playoff-caliber team, but that couldn’t be further from the truth given the current state of the NFC East. The New York Giants lead the division with a 3-2-1 record, followed by Philadelphia and Dallas at 2-4 each, meaning a win on Monday Night Football would put the Commanders right back in the mix. A road victory against a powerhouse like San Francisco could be exactly the type of result that changes Washington’s entire season.

Best Player Prop Bets and Predictions for Commanders vs. 49ers
Monday night’s game is the final opportunity to get involved in NFL betting action before Week 7 begins Thursday night. Check out the available markets at Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook, along with the Stats Hub, where you’ll find plenty of football betting insights on both teams and their players. We used those insights to identify two of the best player prop bets for Commanders vs. 49ers in our Monday Night Football predictions below:
Jayden Daniels Over 40.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
Jayden Daniels is one of the most dangerous quarterbacks in the NFL due to his dual-threat abilities, and that was on full display in last week’s 27-27 tie with the Giants. Although the ending of that game has been heavily criticized, Daniels completed 68% of his passes for 199 yards and also carried the ball nine times for 103 yards and two rushing touchdowns. His first rushing touchdown was a 38-yard score in the third quarter, while the second came on a 26-yard run early in the fourth.
Daniels has played in only two and a half games this season after leaving Week 2 against Dallas just before halftime and then missing the next two weeks due to an elbow injury. Even so, the former second overall pick has 203 rushing yards this season while averaging 9.7 yards per carry and 67.7 rushing yards per game.
The Stats Hub notes that Daniels has recorded 31 or more rushing yards in seven of his last eight appearances, including each of his last three games. The Commanders will be without running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt, who has been ruled out of Monday night’s game with a groin injury. That means Daniels may have to provide a spark once again with his legs throughout the night, something he’s more than capable of doing.
- Jayden Daniels Over 40.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
George Kittle Anytime Touchdown (+105)
Washington had one of the worst defenses against the pass last season, and it’s been more of the same through the first five weeks of 2026. That’s not a good sign heading into a matchup against a high-powered offense like San Francisco’s on Monday night.
One of the reasons for the 49ers’ offensive success has been tight end George Kittle. The seven-time Pro Bowler and two-time First-Team All-Pro has been one of the best at his position over the last decade and is once again enjoying a strong start to the season.
Kittle’s four receiving touchdowns are tied for the fourth most in the NFL and the second most among tight ends this season. He enters Monday as one of the top pass-catching options in the 49ers’ offense, ranking second on the team in receptions, receiving yards, and targets while leading the team in touchdown catches as a go-to target for quarterback Brock Purdy.
The Commanders have already struggled mightily against opposing tight ends this season, allowing Philadelphia’s Dallas Goedert, Dallas’ Jake Ferguson, and the Giants’ Isaiah Likely to each record two-touchdown performances. Seattle’s backup tight end Eric Saubert also caught a touchdown against Washington in Week 3.
Kittle is arguably the most talented and dangerous among the tight ends listed above, and the Stats Hub notes that he has scored at least one touchdown in each of his last five appearances with the 49ers as favorites, as they are Monday night.
- George Kittle Anytime Touchdown (+105)
