The PGA Tour returns to Bermuda this week for the 2026 Butterfield Bermuda Championship, held from October 22-25 at Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton. The 120-player field will compete for a $6 million purse, with $1.08 million and 500 FedExCup points going to the winner.

The Tour resumes its FedExCup Fall schedule after a week off following the Baycurrent Classic in Japan, where Michael Brennan earned his second PGA Tour victory of 2026. Brennan finished at 16-under to edge Keith Mitchell and Jacob Bridgeman by one stroke at Yokohama Country Club. All three contenders will not be in the field in Bermuda.

Two players who finished inside the top 20 in Japan are, however, competing this week. Kevin Roy (+2500) tied for 13th at 11-under, while Ben Kohles (+3000) finished tied for 17th at 10-under.

Ben James Headlines the Field

Ben James (+1000) enters the week as the clear favorite at Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook, with a sizable gap between the 23-year-old and the rest of the field. James last competed at the Bank of Utah Championship earlier this month, where he finished T5 for his third-consecutive Top-5 finish.

Eric Cole (+2250) has the second-shortest odds, followed by Corey Conners (+2500) and Roy (+2500).

A large group of contenders follows at 30-1, including Chris Kirk, David Ford, Neal Shipley, Denny McCarthy, Seamus Power, Andrew Novak and Kevin Yu.

Power is one of several former champions returning to Port Royal. The Irishman won the tournament in 2022 at 19-under and finished tied for 11th last year.

Adam Schenk Returns as Defending Champion

Adam Schenk (+15000) is back in Bermuda after locking up his first PGA Tour victory at last year’s tournament. Schenk finished at 12-under, holding off Chandler Phillips (+5000) by one shot in a week marked by challenging wind conditions.

Phillips isn’t the only player returning after a strong showing in 2025. Max McGreevy (+4000), Takumi Kanaya (+6000) and Vince Whaley (+6000) all finished tied for third at 10-under, just two strokes behind Schenk.

Another former champion, Camilo Villegas (+25000), also enjoyed a strong showing last year. The 2023 champion finished tied for ninth at 8-under.

Rafael Campos (+25000), the 2024 champion, and Brendon Todd (+100000), who won the inaugural tournament in 2019, are also in this year’s field.

Through seven editions of the Butterfield Bermuda Championship, no player has won the event more than once. Schenk will have an opportunity to become the first to accomplish that feat this weekend.
