Dream vs. Valkyries Best Bet: Angel Reese Over 12.5 Rebounds (-135)
Angel Reese is one of the best rebounders in the WNBA and has been since Chicago drafted her seventh overall in 2024. She led the league with 13.1 rebounds per game as a rookie and again with 12.6 in 2025.
Although Reese was traded to the Dream ahead of the 2026 season, her elite rebounding continued as she led the WNBA for the third consecutive year with 12.1 rebounds per game. Her playoff average is slightly lower at 10.6 entering Game 6, but she has recorded 12 or more rebounds in four of the five Finals games against Golden State, including 16 in Game 2 and 15 in Game 5 on Monday night.
The Stats Hub also notes that Reese has recorded 12 or more rebounds in eight of her nine previous appearances against the Valkyries. She’ll need at least 13 Thursday afternoon for this pick to cash.

Valkyries vs. Dream Preview for WNBA Finals Game 6
It’s been a back-and-forth WNBA Finals between the Valkyries and Dream, but Golden State has taken control with two consecutive victories to move within one win of a championship.
The Valkyries took Game 1 at home with a narrow 68-64 victory before Atlanta responded with back-to-back wins, including a dominant 97-71 performance in Game 3. However, Golden State bounced back with a 67-62 road win in Game 4 on Saturday to even the series before returning home and taking Game 5 on Monday night.
Game 5 wasn’t pretty from an offensive perspective for either team, but the Valkyries got the job done with a dominant defensive performance in a 64-55 win at Chase Center. Golden State led just 25-22 at halftime in what was the lowest-scoring first half in WNBA Finals history. The Valkyries outscored Atlanta 21-18 in the third quarter and 18-15 in the fourth to pull away and secure the nine-point victory.
Veteran center Kiah Stokes was a difference-maker for Golden State, scoring 13 points while adding eight rebounds and three blocks. Veronica Burton also recorded 13 points and eight rebounds while contributing four blocks, helping the Valkyries limit Atlanta to just 29.2% shooting from the field. Tiffany Hayes and Cecilia Zandalasini each added 12 points in the win.
For the Dream, Rhyne Howard led the team with 20 points while Jordin Canada added 12. Angel Reese struggled offensively, shooting just 2-for-8 from the field and finishing with seven points, although she still dominated the glass with a game-high 15 rebounds. Allisha Gray also had a difficult shooting night, finishing with 10 points on 4-for-12 shooting.
Atlanta actually outrebounded Golden State 44-33 in Game 5 but committed 15 turnovers. The Dream also shot just 6-for-26 from beyond the arc, making it difficult to overcome their offensive struggles.
The Dream will need a much better shooting performance in Game 6, especially from Reese and Gray, if they want to extend the series. Golden State, meanwhile, will look to continue its defensive dominance and finish the job on the road.
There’s plenty at stake for both franchises, neither of which has ever won a WNBA championship. Atlanta is making its fourth Finals appearance after previously reaching the championship series in 2010, 2011, and 2013, while Golden State is looking to complete a remarkable title run in just its second season in the league. Regardless of how this series ends, one franchise will celebrate its first WNBA championship.
Game 6 has also generated controversy off the court due to an unusual 12:30 p.m. ET tip-off on Thursday afternoon. The game was moved from its originally scheduled evening slot because State Farm Arena is also hosting the Atlanta Hawks and Cleveland Cavaliers at 8 p.m. ET that night. The scheduling conflict has drawn criticism from fans, media, and players, particularly because the afternoon start falls in the middle of a typical workday.
The league opted to keep Game 6 at State Farm Arena rather than move it to the Dream’s much smaller regular home venue, Gateway Center Arena. However, the tight turnaround between games has also raised concerns about whether a potential championship celebration could be affected if Golden State wins Thursday afternoon.
