Best Player Prop Bets and Predictions for 76ers vs. Pacers

Don’t forget to take advantage of Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook’s Stats Hub when placing wagers for Wednesday night’s game. You’ll find valuable basketball betting insights and trends, including those we used to identify two of the best player prop bets for 76ers vs. Pacers in our predictions below:

Jaylen Brown Over 21.5 Points (-115)

Jaylen Brown joined Philadelphia in a blockbuster offseason trade with rival Boston. His offensive numbers aren’t quite as high as they were during his years with the Celtics, given the amount of talent now sharing the floor in Philadelphia. However, he’s still a dangerous offensive threat capable of producing at a high level.

The Stats Hub notes that Brown has scored 24 or more points in 14 consecutive games against the Pacers. He’s reached that mark just once this season, scoring 27 points in a win over Milwaukee on Oct. 24. However, he won’t need 24 points Wednesday night, as 22 will be enough for this pick to cash.

Despite his scoring average dipping slightly through the first four games compared to last season with Boston, Brown is still averaging 20.8 points per game and is shooting a career-best 42.1% from three-point range.

Brown may not always be the No. 1 option in the Sixers’ offense, but he’s still more than capable of taking over games and putting the ball through the hoop.

  • Jaylen Brown Over 21.5 Points (-115)

Pascal Siakam Over 3.5 Assists (-110)

Pascal Siakam didn’t go over 3.5 assists in either of Indiana’s first two games of the season, but he has recorded six assists in each of the Pacers’ last two contests. The Stats Hub also notes that Siakam has recorded four or more assists in 13 consecutive home games against the 76ers.

Siakam is averaging four assists per game so far this season, slightly above his career average of 3.6 per contest.

  • Pascal Siakam Over 3.5 Assists (-110)

76ers vs. Pacers Preview for Oct. 28

The Sixers will be getting every team’s best effort night after night given the level of talent Philadelphia now possesses. It hasn’t always been pretty as the new-look Sixers continue to build chemistry, but it’s certainly been entertaining for Philadelphia fans.

The Sixers started the season 3-0, including an opening-night win at Madison Square Garden to spoil the defending champion New York Knicks’ banner night and a 114-106 comeback victory in their home opener against Cleveland on Oct. 22. Philadelphia rallied from a 29-point deficit against the Cavaliers, marking the largest comeback in franchise history during the NBA’s official play-by-play tracking era.

However, Philadelphia’s hopes of an undefeated season came to an end Sunday with a 106-93 loss to Detroit, last year’s No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference. The Sixers were notably without starters VJ Edgecombe and Joel Embiid and were outrebounded 54-37 without their star center on the floor.

Both Edgecombe and Embiid are expected to return Wednesday night, giving the Sixers their dangerous starting five of Tyrese Maxey, Jaylen Brown, LeBron James, Edgecombe, and Embiid.

The Pacers are looking to bounce back this season after finishing 19-63 last year, a steep fall for a team that nearly won the 2024-25 NBA Finals. Indiana is expected to contend in the Eastern Conference again, thanks largely to the return of two-time All-Star Tyrese Haliburton, who missed the entire 2025-26 season with an Achilles injury suffered in those Finals.

Haliburton scored 23 points and recorded 12 assists in his return, a 123-120 win over New Orleans to open the season. Although Indiana has lost two of its three games since, Haliburton has appeared in all four contests and led the Pacers in scoring in each of their last two games.

Unfortunately for the Pacers, Haliburton has been ruled out for Wednesday night’s game against the 76ers with a hamstring strain and is expected to miss additional time.

The Pacers’ most recent outing was a 110-102 road loss to Milwaukee on Monday night despite leading 61-50 at halftime. The Bucks cut the deficit to one point entering the fourth quarter before outscoring Indiana 26-17 to complete the comeback. Like the Sixers in their previous game, the Pacers were also outrebounded in the loss.

Be sure to monitor Indiana’s injury report as tip-off approaches. In addition to Haliburton, starting center Ivica Zubac has been ruled out for Wednesday night’s matchup. Andrew Nembhard is listed as questionable, while Obi Toppin and Aaron Nesmith are probable.
