The NBA is back in action Wednesday with a loaded slate after no games were played Tuesday on Election Day. The final game of the night takes place at the Intuit Dome, where the Los Angeles Clippers (1-6) host the Miami Heat (2-5) at 10:30 p.m. ET.
Both teams are looking to get back on track after disappointing starts to the season. Check out our Heat vs. Clippers best player prop bets, predictions, and odds below ahead of Wednesday night’s matchup.

Best Player Prop Bets and Predictions for Heat vs. Clippers
Heat vs. Clippers is the final game of the night and the last chance to get in on Wednesday’s NBA basketball betting action at Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook. Check out the Stats Hub for insights and trends, which we used to identify two of the best player prop bets for Heat vs. Clippers in our predictions below:
Klay Thompson Over 9.5 Points (-120)
The Heat feature a high-scoring offense, largely due to the addition of Giannis Antetokounmpo, but veteran Klay Thompson is averaging the fourth-most points per game on the team with 11.9 and is starting to heat up.
Thompson is shooting more frequently and efficiently, having scored a season-high 25 points on 64.3% shooting from the field, including 7-for-12 from three-point range, in Miami’s win over Indiana on Oct. 30. He followed that performance with 19 points on 63.6% shooting, including four made threes, in Monday’s loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Stats Hub notes that Thompson has scored 12 or more points in six consecutive games with his team as a favorite against the Clippers.
- Klay Thompson Over 9.5 Points (-120)
Darius Garland Over 6.5 Assists (-140)
The Clippers haven’t been as productive offensively as the Heat this season, but they’re about to face a Miami team that’s allowing the fourth-most points per game in the NBA. Opposing teams are also averaging the second-most assists per game against the Heat.
Darius Garland is averaging 6.7 assists per game over his eight-year career and leads the Clippers with 6.6 per contest through the first seven games of the season. Garland has recorded seven or more assists in each of his last two games and posted a season-high 11 assists in a loss to Oklahoma City on Oct. 25.
The Stats Hub notes that Garland has recorded seven or more assists in eight consecutive games with his team as an underdog against Eastern Conference opponents, as the Clippers are Wednesday night against the Heat.
- Darius Garland Over 6.5 Assists (-140)

Heat vs. Clippers Preview for Nov. 4
It looked as though the Heat were putting their 0-4 start to the 2026-27 NBA season behind them after winning back-to-back games against Atlanta and Indiana. However, they dropped the first game of their five-game West Coast road trip Monday night in a 138-117 loss to the Lakers.
The Heat had no answer for Lakers superstar Luka Dončić, who scored 42 points and dished out 13 assists. Miami will look to get back on track against the Lakers’ Los Angeles counterpart in Wednesday night’s matchup with the Clippers.
Things haven’t been going well for the Clippers to start the season. Los Angeles won its season opener 121-96 against Sacramento but has since lost six consecutive games and now owns a 1-6 record.
The most recent loss was a 125-118 defeat to Toronto on Monday, which began a three-game homestand. Kobe Sanders led the Clippers with 26 points while shooting 5-for-11 from beyond the arc.
However, it hasn’t been the best offensive start for Los Angeles, which is still awaiting the return of three-time All-Star Bradley Beal. The veteran is dealing with right knee inflammation after missing most of last season following left hip surgery.
