Arizona vs. TCU Best Bet: Over 46.5 Points (-115)
Before we get into why we’re siding with the Over on the total, we should mention that both defenses have played fairly well this season. Neither unit typically gives up a ton of yards or allows many points, but that doesn’t mean TCU and Arizona can’t combine for at least 47 points Friday night.
Starting with Arizona, its offense is averaging 34.9 points and 455.6 total yards per game. Quarterback Noah Fifita has been playing very well, completing 74.1% of his passes with 19 touchdowns and just four interceptions while also contributing three rushing touchdowns this season.
Arizona has gotten more production through the air than on the ground this season, thanks to wide receiver Isaiah Mizell and his team-leading 675 receiving yards and six receiving touchdowns. Mizell enters Friday night’s matchup with the sixth-most receiving yards in the Big 12 in 2026.
Speaking of the Wildcats’ run game, no one has really taken over in terms of rushing yards, with Kedrick Reescano leading the team with 321 yards and both Antwan Roberts Jr. and Quincy Craig having over 200 yards. However, Reescano has found the end zone a team-high seven times on the ground.
TCU’s offense hasn’t been nearly as productive as Arizona’s, and while the Horned Frogs’ run game is averaging just 3.5 yards per carry and has fewer than 1,000 rushing yards as a team, the passing game has been much better.
Tight end Kari Ashley leads the Horned Frogs with 560 receiving yards and is tied for the team lead with fellow tight end Ka’Morreun Pimpton with four receiving touchdowns apiece. Wide receiver Ed Small is just behind Ashley with 548 receiving yards, while Jordan Dwyer has also been productive with 409 receiving yards.
The key here will be how each offense performs against the opposing defense. TCU is allowing the sixth-fewest points per game in the country at 14.1, while Arizona isn’t far behind at 18.9 points per game.
- Arizona vs. TCU Total Pick for Nov. 6: Over 46.5 Points (-115)

TCU vs. Arizona Preview for Friday Night
Arizona is looking to bounce back from a tough 34-26 road loss to current No. 15 Texas Tech last week. Interestingly, Arizona’s only two losses this year have come against ranked Big 12 opponents, with the other being a 28-17 defeat to then-No. 15 and current No. 9 BYU on Sept. 12.
The Wildcats had a five-game winning streak snapped in last week’s loss to Texas Tech, a game in which Arizona’s run game was nonexistent with only 12 rushing yards while the defense gave up 328 rushing yards. On a positive note, wide receiver Isaiah Mizell had 182 receiving yards and a touchdown, and Arizona didn’t turn the ball over.
TCU began the year with a 2-3 record but has since won two of its last three games, with the lone loss during that stretch being a four-point defeat to West Virginia on Oct. 24. Nothing will come easy against this No. 22 Arizona team, but TCU will look to carry momentum from its 22-16 win over Kansas last week into a hostile road environment in Tucson Friday night.
Offense hasn’t been TCU’s strong point this season, and even with the win last week, that showed as the Horned Frogs totaled just 286 yards of offense. Instead, it’s been their defense that has kept them in games, ranking among the leaders in college football in both fewest total yards and fewest points per game allowed.
That wasn’t entirely true last week against Kansas, as the Horned Frogs allowed 451 total yards of offense, but the defense did force two turnovers and held the Jayhawks to 16 points. One of those turnovers was a 60-yard pick-six by linebacker Max Carroll late in the third quarter, which gave TCU its first points of the game.
It should be an exciting matchup between this stout TCU defense and high-powered Arizona offense.
