Happy Thursday! The NFL is back and we have a Thursday Night Football matchup that looked a whole lot different on paper a couple of weeks ago.

The Jaguars visit Baltimore with the Ravens sitting as 10-point home underdogs at Hard Rock Bet. Lamar Jackson might be out for the season, and while Baltimore traded for Jacoby Brissett on Wednesday, it appears Joe Fagnano will get the start Thursday.

If you were wondering how we arrived at Baltimore being this big of an underdog at home, there’s your answer.

I’m targeting two Jaguars pass catchers, plus a Ravens running back whose role could become more valuable if this game follows the script oddsmakers expect.

Let’s get into my favorite touchdown picks for Thursday, November 5, at Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook.

The Best Jaguars vs. Ravens Touchdown Props for TNF

  • Brenton Strange +250 Anytime TD
  • Jakobi Meyers +325 Anytime TD
  • Justice Hill +425 Anytime TD
  • Bonus: Derrick Henry +125 Anytime TD

TNF Touchdown Pick: Brenton Strange (+250)

Brenton Strange hasn’t caught a touchdown since the opener.

At this point, I’m starting to wonder whether he needs to accidentally fall into the end zone with the football.

The opportunity certainly hasn’t disappeared. Strange has 25 targets across his last four games and ranks second on Jacksonville in target share.

This isn’t a player we’re backing solely because he might get one perfectly timed goal-line look. He’s involved throughout the offense.

And when Jacksonville gets close, he’s almost always out there.

Strange has played all 17 of the Jaguars’ snaps inside the 5-yard line and 89% of their snaps inside the 10. That’s the kind of participation that keeps bringing me back, even when the touchdown results haven’t cooperated.

Jacksonville has also been a legitimate contender, ranking in the top 10 in EPA per play on both offense and defense. The offense has been humming for much of the season, so we’re not asking Strange to overcome a unit that rarely threatens to score.

Of course, none of that makes him “due.” We still need Trevor Lawrence to look his way and Strange to finish the play.

But I’d rather keep backing a meaningful role than abandon it because the recent box scores have been frustrating.

At +250, I’m going back to the well. I wouldn’t be surprised if the touchdowns eventually arrive in bunches, but we only need one Thursday.

Thursday TD Prediction: Jakobi Meyers (+325)

Strange gives us the playing time. Jakobi Meyers gives us the end-zone targets.

That’s the distinction I like between these two Jacksonville bets.

Meyers doesn’t play a huge share of the snaps inside the 5-yard line, so I’m not going to sell this as an elite goal-line participation play. Expand the field to the 20, though, and he’s been on the field for more than 70% of Jacksonville’s snaps.

More importantly, Lawrence is actually looking for him.

Meyers is tied with Parker Washington for the team lead with seven targets inside the 20. He also has seven end-zone targets, three more than any other Jaguars player.

Those are two different measures of scoring opportunity, and Meyers stands out in both. That’s especially appealing at +325. Meyers has a defined role when Jacksonville gets into scoring territory.

There’s always a chance the Jaguars finish drives on the ground or spread the scoring elsewhere. But at this price, I’m interested in the receiver Lawrence has sought out most often in the end zone.

TNF Long-Shot TD Pick: Justice Hill (+475)

Justice Hill is a game-script bet.

Baltimore is a double-digit underdog with a major question at quarterback. If Jacksonville gets ahead early, the Ravens could spend a substantial part of the night trying to move the ball through the air.

That’s where Hill becomes interesting.

Derrick Henry is an absolute machine, but third downs, obvious passing situations, and two-minute possessions typically aren’t where he gets much work.

Those situations create a path for Hill to become more involved, particularly if Baltimore needs to play catch-up.

Now, there’s an obvious limitation. More passing-down work doesn’t automatically mean useful production, especially with an inexperienced quarterback running the offense.

But at +475, we’re looking for a plausible route to one touchdown, not projecting a dominant offensive performance.

Hill could get opportunities while the Ravens are chasing points. If the game gets particularly lopsided, there’s also a case for Baltimore limiting Henry’s exposure rather than feeding him touches in a game that’s slipping away.

Henry has been mentioned in trade speculation too. That doesn’t mean a move is coming or that Baltimore has announced any plan to protect him. Still, I wouldn’t assume the Ravens keep leaning on their most valuable offensive weapon if the outcome is largely decided.

At +475, I’ll take a smaller shot on that script.

Honorable Mention: Derrick Henry (+125)

It feels strange even typing “Derrick Henry at plus money.”

At +125, he deserves an honorable mention on principle alone. We don’t get many chances to consider a touchdown price like this on him.

The number also tells us how little confidence oddsmakers have in Baltimore’s offense Thursday.

That concern is real. Henry can still be Henry, but the Ravens have to create a scoring opportunity for him first.

He’s not one of my three main picks, and the price alone isn’t enough to erase the quarterback situation. But if you’re looking at this market and doing a double take, I get it.

Good luck with all of your TNF touchdown bets! Play responsibly, especially with these longer-odds props – keep the speculative plays appropriately sized.
