Which underdogs should you be looking at for Week 10 of college football?

I’ve got three of them, and if all three pull off the upset, the parlay pays 77-1 at Hard Rock Bet.

Texas A&M +7 at South Carolina

I know, what an awful season for Texas A&M, sitting at a measly 4-4.

And everybody wants to blame Marcel Reed because he’s thrown seven interceptions in their four losses: 31-21 to Kentucky, 35-6 at LSU, 27-6 at Missouri and 31-20 at Alabama.

Now, it certainly doesn’t help that Kelshaun Johnson, Mario Craver and Terry Bussey, his beloved receivers, are all banged up.

But that being said, this A&M defense is legit.

The Aggies held Alabama to just 68 rushing yards and covered the spread as double-digit underdogs two weeks ago in Tuscaloosa. And then they gave up just seven points to Arkansas.

Here’s the best part. With all those injuries, they’ve had a bye week before heading to Columbia.

South Carolina has won three straight, and LaNorris Sellers is playing like the Heisman hopeful you guys all thought he was last season. He just went off at Oklahoma, completing 19 of 24 passes for 301 yards and three touchdowns in a 42-25 win.

But the Gamecocks lost their leading rusher, Matt Fuller, to an ankle injury, and it makes me concerned that this could leave South Carolina one-dimensional.

And let’s not forget, this team sucks as a home favorite.

Yep. They beat Mississippi State 41-34 and Kentucky 35-34.

I know because I laid the points with South Carolina in both of them.

So now we’re getting a touchdown against a South Carolina offense that’s basically forced to run through its quarterback’s legs?

Yes, please. Sign me up for that.

Give me Texas A&M +7 and Texas A&M +230 on the moneyline at Hard Rock Bet.

Iowa State +10.5 at Baylor

What have I told you guys about Ames, Iowa?

It is a tough place in the middle of winter. I don’t care if it’s October, Halloween or December 1st. It’s the worst place to play when you’re a ranked team.

And last week, Iowa State beat another ranked team.

The Cyclones knocked off No. 24 Oklahoma State 51-49 in a shootout on a 34-yard field goal by Kyle Konrardy as time expired.

I was shocked.

In fact, I was more mad at myself that I didn’t bet on the Cyclones because I didn’t think they could win in a shootout. I thought they’d have to win a low-scoring game.

Well, I was wrong.

Aiden Flora ran absolutely wild, rushing for 221 yards and two touchdowns, while Jaylen Raynor completed 18 of 28 passes for 309 yards and three scores, plus a rushing touchdown to boot.

And that was just one week after Raynor got yanked at Arizona.

Flora now has three 190-yard rushing games this season. He had 194 against Bowling Green, 212 against West Virginia and 221 against Oklahoma State. Iowa State won all three of those games because it ran the football.

Now, last Friday night, we were on Baylor. I said take the couple of points at UCF. Letdown spot for the Golden Knights, and the Bears win easily.

But I also said I liked Joe Klanderman in his first game as interim head coach. Great defensive guy, and that’s where Baylor had some woes.

You know what we also got? We got good DJ Lagway. He threw for 319 yards and four touchdowns, and that’s really what you want when you’re betting on Baylor.

Last week, though, the Bears were getting points. Now they’re laying double digits in Waco.

This is a Baylor team that watched Kansas run the football 56 times for 209 yards just two weeks ago. Iowa State’s going to do the exact same thing, guys.

And ultimately, double digits is way too much for what I think is going to be a lower-scoring game, with a chance for Iowa State to win back-to-back games.

I praised Klanderman last Friday night for his win at UCF, and I was happy for him as a former defensive coordinator at my alma mater.

However, if you’d like to guess which offense had his number over the years in the Big 12, yeah, that’s right – it would be Iowa State.

I think bad DJ Lagway is going to show up with Baylor in a flat spot and BYU on deck next week.

I left Iowa State off my card last weekend, and I’m not going to make that mistake again.

Give me Iowa State +10.5 and Iowa State +275 on the moneyline.

Michigan State +12.5 at Michigan

Now, this last one’s kind of a stretch.

I went back and forth. I looked at Rutgers, Boston College, and ultimately landed in a rivalry spot with Michigan State.

Hey, Michigan has an offensive issue.

The Wolverines have topped 21 points just twice all season, against UTEP and Rutgers.

They scored 28 points last week against the Scarlet Knights, and guess what? That’s the most Big Ten points they’ve scored all season long.

They needed a nine-yard touchdown run from Tommy Carr with four minutes left to beat a 2-6 Rutgers team.

And if you’ve been living under a rock and don’t know who Tommy Carr is, he’s the true freshman who took over for the very expensive Bryce Underwood after Underwood got benched at halftime against Penn State.

Bottom line, double digits is too many points in a rivalry game.

Michigan State is 2-6 on the season. They’ve lost six straight, but you’ve got to say at some point they’re going to come to play.

And what better time to do it than against big brother in the Big House, in what is ultimately their bowl game?

Pat Fitzgerald is one of my favorite underdog coaches.

He’s 20-14 against the spread as a road underdog. And if he’s catching 10 points or more, he’s 13-9 against the spread.

Why does that matter? Because this is a low total. Just 39.5 points, and points are going to be at an absolute premium.

And oh, by the way, who does Michigan play next week?

Yep. A team that just snuck back into the Top 25 after beating Northwestern. Oregon.

Michigan is 5-3 with Oregon on deck, and this should be Sparty’s bowl game.

Pat Fitzgerald is an underdog, and maybe, just maybe, we can cash that +475 on the moneyline.

Give me Michigan State +12.5 and Michigan State +475 on the moneyline.
