Eagles vs. Bears Best Player Props and Prop Bets for Monday Night Football

Monday Night Football takes place at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois, as the Bears (1-1) are set to host the Philadelphia Eagles (2-0) in an NFC showdown to conclude Week 3. The two teams met not long ago in a Week 13 Black Friday matchup at Lincoln Financial Field last season, a game the Bears won 24-15.

Both teams are a bit different from what they were in that previous meeting, and the Bears will notably be without starting quarterback Caleb Williams on Monday night after he suffered a Grade 2 hamstring strain during Chicago’s Week 2 loss to Minnesota that is expected to keep him out for a few weeks. Backup quarterback Tyson Bagent also found himself on the injury report with a concussion, and although he cleared protocol in time, the Bears are opting to start veteran quarterback Case Keenum against Philadelphia.

The Eagles, meanwhile, enter Monday night fresh off two tightly contested matchups to begin the season, having beaten NFC East rival Washington 24-22 in Week 1 before escaping Tennessee in the blistering heat with a 24-20 victory in Week 2. Quarterback Jalen Hurts led Philadelphia on a nine-play, 65-yard touchdown drive with under two minutes remaining, finding 2025 undrafted free agent wide receiver Darius Cooper in the back of the end zone for the go-ahead touchdown with just nine seconds left.

Philadelphia was also managing injury concerns of its own leading up to Monday night’s game, as wide receiver DeVonta Smith was dealing with a hamstring issue and running back Saquon Barkley was recovering from a stinger that caused him to miss most of the Week 2 matchup in Tennessee. However, neither player carries an injury designation for Monday Night Football, and both are good to go. The Eagles will be without tight end Dallas Goedert, though, after he suffered a knee injury in Week 2 that is expected to keep him out for a few weeks.

Given his production so far, especially with Dallas Goedert out Monday night, there’s plenty of reason to believe he can record 44 or more receiving yards. For what it’s worth, Chicago’s defense allowed 361 receiving yards to Carolina in Week 1, with two wide receivers recording 75 or more yards.

Saquon Barkley Over 73.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

Saquon Barkley began his Eagles career with a bang, rushing for a historic 2,005 yards in 2024 to earn Pro Bowl, First-Team All-Pro, and Offensive Player of the Year honors, with the season, of course, ending in a Super Bowl championship. While he didn’t quite replicate that production in 2025, Barkley still rushed for 1,140 yards in his second year with Philadelphia.

Fast forward to 2026, and Barkley opened the season with 83 rushing yards against Washington in Week 1 but carried the ball only four times for nine yards in Week 2 after suffering a stinger early in the game against Tennessee. The 29-year-old said he’s good to go for Monday Night Football against a Chicago defense that allowed 125 rushing yards and 5.7 yards per carry in Week 1 against Carolina before giving up 105 rushing yards to Minnesota running back Aaron Jones Sr. in Week 2.

Those numbers are favorable for an elite running back like Barkley, who the Stats Hub notes has recorded 83 or more rushing yards in each of his last three appearances against NFC opponents.

D’Andre Swift Anytime Touchdown (+100)

We’re now shifting gears to Barkley’s counterpart and taking a look at Bears running back D’Andre Swift. While this game is in Chicago, Swift is from Philadelphia and attended St. Joseph’s Prep before playing college football at Georgia and being selected by Detroit in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

Swift also has direct ties to the Eagles organization, having played in Philadelphia in 2023, when he rushed for more than 1,000 yards and was named to the Pro Bowl. However, that was his lone season with the team, as the Eagles signed Barkley ahead of the 2024 season and the Bears signed Swift in free agency.

Swift had a very good second season with Chicago in 2025, rushing for a career-high 1,087 yards and nine touchdowns while continuing to prove he could be a threat as a receiver. The 27-year-old picked up right where he left off with a dominant performance in Week 1 against Carolina, rushing for 124 yards and three touchdowns while also catching a 10-yard pass.

Swift didn’t do much in the Week 2 loss to Minnesota, but nobody really did in a game in which the two teams combined for only 12 points. Swift finished the game averaging just 2.8 yards per carry, but he did catch five passes on six targets for 54 yards, showcasing that he can be a factor in multiple ways, which also means more opportunities to score touchdowns.

The Eagles have had some trouble stopping the run at times through the first two weeks, having already allowed a rushing touchdown to Washington running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt in Week 1 and two rushing touchdowns to Tennessee quarterback Cam Ward in Week 2.
