The Milwaukee Brewers are one win away from reaching the World Series for the first time since 1982 after taking the first three games of the National League Championship Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. The defending back-to-back champions will try to extend their season Thursday night at Dodger Stadium, with first pitch scheduled for 8 p.m. ET on FS1.
Milwaukee entered the NLCS with the best record in baseball at 103-59, while Los Angeles finished just three games behind at 100-62. Despite the narrow gap between the teams during the regular season, the Brewers have dominated the series thus far, winning twice at American Family Field before taking Game 3 on Wednesday night in Los Angeles.
The Brewers opened the series with a 2-1 victory on Sunday, getting a solo home run from Brice Turang and a go-ahead RBI single from Luis Lara. Milwaukee followed with a 7-4 win in Game 2, putting the Dodgers in a difficult position heading into the change of venue.
Los Angeles returned home Wednesday hoping to cut into the deficit, but Milwaukee continued its offensive success with a 6-2 victory in Game 3. The Brewers have now outscored the Dodgers 15-7 across the first three games, leaving Los Angeles in a dreaded 0-3 hole – a spot that only one team has ever rallied back from in the history of Major League Baseball.
The Dodgers need a win on Thursday to keep their hopes of a three-peat alive, while Milwaukee has four opportunities to secure its first National League pennant since joining the league in 1998.
Dodgers vs. Brewers Odds Today
Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook lists Los Angeles as the home favorite for Thursday’s Game 4:
Dodgers vs. Brewers Prediction
Los Angeles Dodgers Moneyline (-160): The Dodgers are turning to Tyler Glasnow with their season on the line, and the right-hander’s postseason track record gives us reason to back Los Angeles to extend the NLCS.
The Dodgers are 7-0 in postseason games in which Glasnow has appeared, with the veteran recording a 1.73 ERA across those seven outings. He has continued to pitch well this October, entering Thursday with a 1.93 ERA in the 2026 playoffs after a solid appearance against Atlanta.
Glasnow hasn’t faced Milwaukee this season, but he was excellent against the Brewers in 2025. In two regular season starts, he allowed just one earned run across 11 innings, good for a 0.82 ERA.
Milwaukee’s situation on the mound also favors the Dodgers. The Brewers have yet to officially announce their Game 4 starter, although left-hander Shane Drohan is reportedly expected to get the ball, with former Dodgers right-hander Dustin May potentially following in relief.
Drohan finished the regular season with a 4.19 ERA across 124.2 innings and has not appeared in the 2026 postseason thus far. That lack of recent work, combined with the possibility of Milwaukee using multiple pitchers to cover the game, presents a serious opportunity for the Dodgers’ bats.
We’re backing Los Angeles to avoid the sweep and send the NLCS to Game 5.
