The 2026 Leagues Cup gets underway Tuesday night as FC Cincinnati hosts CF Pachuca at TQL Stadium in one of the opening matches of this year’s tournament. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:45 p.m. ET as an MLS side with one of the league’s most productive attacks meets a Pachuca team looking to rebound from consecutive Liga MX defeats.

FC Cincinnati enters tonight’s match sitting sixth in the Eastern Conference with a 7-5-6 record through 18 MLS matches. Pat Noonan‘s side has scored 45 goals, tied for the most in the league with Inter Miami, but has also conceded 44 at the other end. FC Cincinnati’s offense has been driven by Evander and Kevin Denkey, who have each found the back of the net 11 times this season. Evander has also chipped in a team-high 10 assists.

Pachuca, meanwhile, opened its Liga MX Apertura season with mixed results. The Tuzos began their campaign with an impressive 3-0 road win over Pumas UNAM before suffering a 2-1 home loss to Querétaro and a 1-0 defeat at León. Veteran striker Salomón Rondón has been the bright spot during that stretch, leading Pachuca with three goals through its opening three Liga MX matches.
