Placed just one minute before midnight on Saturday night (December 6), one Hard Rock Bet player scanned through the college basketball odds and built a 20-bet ticket that won’t soon be forgotten. The Pembroke Pines, Florida-based bettor landed on:

Close Calls
No 20-bet parlay comes without its fair share of close calls… allow us to set the stage on a couple of the closest.
Central Michigan Under 65.5
Central Michigan lost to Saint Louis by forty-two points… but our bettor was sweating the Central Michigan under 65.5 team total. A CMU jumper with 56 seconds left put them on exactly 65 total points. One more basket would sink the ticket. Saint Louis worked some clock, and converted a layup of their own to bring the score to 107-65. Next, Central Michigan attempted one final three pointer with just 20 seconds left which missed. Saint Louis secured the rebound and CMU didn’t foul. Had that final three gone down, this ticket was done.
Davidson Under 63.5
The Davidson Wildcats had not one, but two last-second shots to sink the bet, but the ticket escaped. Davidson missed a three with 11 seconds left that would have sent the Wildcats to 64 points. They fouled on the rebound, and got the ball back with just eight seconds on the clock. Ultimately they settled for a layup (which missed), preserving the parlay.
FGCU Under 76.5
Florida Gulf Coast under 76.5 was another nail-biter in the route to the $344K win. Sitting on 74 points, the Eagles hauled in a defensive rebound with eight seconds left, down by seven points. They drove the the length of the floor, but elected for a dunk instead of a three – ending on exactly 76 points.
