The NBA Playoffs are back. It’s our favorite time of year. We’re locked in.

Most importantly – we’re trying to make some money. And yes, we’re doing it with Hard Rock Bet. Let’s make that clear.

Rory & Mal April 17

Rory’s NBA Finals Prediction: Knicks vs. Spurs

It always starts with the Knicks for me.

This year feels different. This feels like the last real year for us as Knicks fans to see something happen. The window is closing.

So I’m putting money behind it. Knicks at +500 to get into the Finals. That’s my pick out of the East.

And yeah, I’m betting with my heart this time.

Out West, I’ve got the Spurs at +325.

I’ve got Spurs-Knicks as my Finals. I know how that sounds, but I just think the talent is there. Wemby is different, and this feels like the playoffs where he really shows he’s differentdifferent.

I know people are going to bring up Pop not being on the sidelines anymore, but that DNA is still in the building. Don’t get it twisted. That culture is still there.

This isn’t the safe route, I know that. But I’m riding with it.

Mal’s NBA Finals Prediction: Thunder vs. Pistons

I’m not mad at those at all, but I’m going with the favorite.

I like the Thunder to win the West for the second straight year.

They’re sitting at +110, they’ve been solid all year, and nothing about them feels too big for the moment.

But I’m not just going chalk, either.

I’m going to go with the Pistons in the East. Cade is back, and that changes things. Pistons at +475? I’ll take that.
