Man City PSG

Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain meet at Etihad Stadium on Wednesday afternoon in a matchup between two of European soccer‘s biggest clubs. Kickoff is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET, with the Champions League fixture streaming on Paramount+.

Manchester City began its Champions League campaign with a 2-0 road victory over Porto, part of an unbeaten start to the 2026-27 season under new manager Enzo Maresca that includes a flawless 6-0-0 record in the Premier League.

PSG arrives in Manchester looking to continue its pursuit of a third consecutive Champions League title after winning the competition in each of the previous two seasons under Luis Enrique.

The French club made an emphatic opening statement in September, defeating Slovan Bratislava 6-1 in its first Champions League match. Ferran Torres led the attack with a hat trick, continuing an impressive start to his first season in Paris.

PSG has since won four of its last five matches across all competitions, most recently defeating Le Mans 3-1 over the weekend. Enrique was also able to rest several regular starters in that victory, including Ousmane Dembélé and Nuno Mendes, both of whom are expected to return Wednesday.

The visitors have enjoyed considerable success against English opposition, going unbeaten in their last 11 European matches against Premier League clubs. However, PSG has historically struggled when visiting Manchester City, losing three of its four previous trips to the Etihad Stadium.

The clubs last met in January 2025, when PSG rallied from a two-goal deficit to secure a 4-2 victory in Paris during the Champions League league phase.

Best Bet for Manchester City vs. PSG

Manchester City Moneyline (+100): Manchester City has spent the last two weeks at the center of one of the biggest scandals in Premier League history, but the controversy surrounding the club hasn’t slowed down Maresca’s squad on the pitch.

An independent commission recently found City guilty of serious financial rule violations dating back to 2009, a ruling the club has appealed. With potential sanctions looming, the uncertainty surrounding City’s future has dominated headlines.

Yet the current group of players has continued to go about its business, and Sunday’s trip to Anfield offered perhaps the clearest example.

Playing its first match since the verdict, City walked into one of the most hostile environments in English football and came away with a convincing 3-0 victory over Liverpool. Erling Haaland, Jérémy Doku and Rayan Cherki all found the back of the net as City maintained its perfect start to the Premier League campaign.

Liverpool’s second-half red card certainly helped, but City still had to capitalize on the opportunity, scoring three times in a 13-minute stretch to put the match away.

Maresca has emphasized the importance of shutting out the distractions and concentrating on winning matches, and his players have backed that message up with their performances.

City now returns to the Etihad Stadium having won all eight competitive matches this season, with another opportunity to demonstrate that the turmoil surrounding the organization isn’t affecting the product on the field.

PSG presents a formidable challenge as the two-time defending Champions League winner, but City’s current form, home advantage and ability to deliver under pressure make the even-money price appealing.

We’re backing Manchester City Moneyline (+100) to keep its perfect start intact with another victory on Wednesday.
