The UEFA Champions League continues Wednesday with another slate of matches, including Italian Serie A club AS Roma hosting La Liga powerhouse Real Madrid at Stadio Olimpico in Rome for a 3 p.m. ET kickoff.
Roma opened its 2026-27 Champions League campaign with a 1-1 draw against Fenerbahçe on Sept. 10, with Bryan Cristante scoring the club’s lone goal and goalkeeper Mile Svilar making four saves on five shots on target. Unfortunately for Roma, Cristante and Svilar will both miss Wednesday’s match due to injury.
Outside of the Champions League, Roma has been playing well as of late, sitting third in Serie A with an unbeaten record of four wins and two draws after finishing third in the league last season.
Real Madrid continues to be a powerhouse in European soccer and got its Champions League campaign started on the right foot with a 2-1 win over Inter Milan on Sept. 8.
