Kane Brown is one of the biggest names in country music today, but during a recent sit-down with Hard Rock Bet ahead of the F1 Miami Grand Prix, the multi-platinum artist proved he’s just as passionate about sports as he is about music.
From naming his personal “Mount Rushmore” of country music to revealing his dream sporting event performance, Brown touched on a little bit of everything.
What’s your all-time country music Mount Rushmore?
Definitely got to put George Strait up there. Oh man. It’s so hard because country music’s doing so well right now. I feel like you got to put Morgan (Wallen) up there, man. Morgan’s got to go. I’m going to put Shania Twain. This is so hard.
See, I would put Ella (Langley) up there right now because she’s killing it, but it’s too early.
Who are the most influential country artists right now?
Definitely Morgan and Ella. Everybody’s going after them right now. I’m gonna put myself in there, too.
What other big sporting events would you like to perform at?
I love basketball, baseball, football. So the Super Bowl, the National Championship if Georgia’s there.
Who’s your F1 pick?
Ollie, Ollie Bearman. I’m going to go with Ollie – that’s my guy.
What do you enjoy the most about working with Hard Rock?
Hard Rock’s been very good to me. Casinos are fire. You go to a lot of casinos, they’re not really that good. Hard Rock’s pretty good. Feels like you’re in Vegas. Like I said, they’ve just been really good to me. Treat me like family. I’ve never had a problem here, so appreciate you guys.
What’s your pre-show ritual?
I recently just started praying before I go on stage. It used to be a shot. Now it’s praying. Getting old.
Asking a Georgia fan to sign a Gators picture…
We then asked the Georgia Bulldogs fan to autograph a special photo for us…
Nope. That’s crazy. Really? What is that, man? That’s wild. I’m not that mad though. If you had made this Alabama, I’d stomp on it. I ain’t going to lie to you. I’ll sign a Gator though – I don’t care. You should show this to my best friend though because he’s a die-hard Gator.
