Joe Pisapia’s Hard Rock Bet of the Day: Reds RL -1.5 (+146)
Today I’m going to be betting on Chase Burns by taking the Reds on the run line, -1.5 at a nice big +146.
Oo-wee. That’s what I like to see against the San Diego Padres offense. And Manny Machado and Fernando Tatís Jr.
Burns has been hot.
Chris Welsh’s Hard Rock Bet of the Day: Red Sox vs. Rays NRFI
I am going to go with the Boston and Rays NRFI.
Someone was complaining the other day that I haven’t done any NRFIs recently. Well, I like this one.
The problem with a lot of no-run first innings is the juice. So many of them get juiced to hell, especially the ones you want to play. Some people like to parlay them. But this was one that stood out to me that was still in a very playable range.
You’ve got Payton Tolle and Nick Martinez, both with sub-2.50 ERAs going. A Red Sox offense that has been bad. The Rays offense is definitely a lot better, but Tolle has been in absolute demon mode. So, just a couple of pitchers that have been on demon mode.
It’s a serviceable number that you can deal with, especially in the NRFI run.
And we are going to play a little no-run first inning. Boston and Tampa for my Hard Rock Bet of the day.
