FantasyPros’ Leading Off: MLB Best Bets, Picks & Predictions for Friday, June 12

We are back with another edition of Leading Off, featuring our Hard Rock Best Bets of the Day with a pair of MLB wagers for Friday’s slate.

Joe Pisapia’s Hard Rock Bet of the Day: Brewers RL -1.5 (-110)

I’m going with the Brewers on the run line, -1.5. That’s what I like today.

You’ve got Jacob Misiorowski at home against the Philadelphia Phillies and Andrew Painter is on the mound there.

Misiorowski has been unbelievable, especially at the home ballpark. And the Brewers are still in first place the last time I checked, playing good baseball.

So I’ll take the Miz to get the Brewers over that 1.5 at -110.

Chris Welsh’s Hard Rock Bet of the Day: Roki Sasaki Over 6 K’s (+103)

I’ve turned the corner. I’m a Roki Sasaki fan now. I was super anti-Roki Sasaki.

Unfortunately, they are going up against an absolute powerhouse in the Chicago White Sox right now.

But Roki’s slider has been good. His fastball has been good. But man, that split-finger—how he’s moving it now—it just flies. And he has had seven or more strikeouts in three of his last four outings. So he has it rolling.

The White Sox haven’t seen this yet this year. There are some strikeout bats in that offense.

So Sasaki at plus money on six strikeouts.

The Dodgers need guys to go deeper, too. Losing Wrobleski and then Ohtani being banged up, they’ve got to rely on these guys. Roki has been very reliable. Lots of strikeouts lately.

Again, the White Sox do kind of mitigate that a little bit. But a few more younger bats in there, once they see that power fastball, that slider, and then that split-finger, I think we’re going to hit that six strikeout mark.

So, I love it at plus money. That is my Hard Rock Bet of the day.
