Joe Pisapia’s Hard Rock Bet of the Day: Rockies/Astros Over 8.5 Runs (-122)
Today, I’m going with Colorado at Houston, over 8.5 total runs at -122.
Both pitchers in this matchup have ERAs north of 5.50, which is never a recipe for a quiet game. The Astros’ offense has been absolutely rolling this season, and while we did see Arrighetti have a strong outing yesterday, he’s not the one taking the mound today.
Instead, we’re looking at two struggling arms and likely some early bullpen involvement, which only adds fuel to the fire for runs in this one.
Honestly, I was shocked to see this total sitting at just 8.5. Based on the pitching matchup alone, this felt more like a 10.5-type of game to me.
Let’s take advantage of the number and expect plenty of offense in Houston.

I’m trying to dig myself out of the mud a little bit here after yesterday.
I had Dylan Cease over 6.5 strikeouts, and of course, he landed on six. That’s just how it’s been going.
Today, we’re going back to something that’s worked for us before – Cleveland Guardians first five moneyline.
We’re rolling with Parker Messick in this spot, and I really like the matchup for Cleveland early in this game.
The beauty of the first five moneyline is the built-in safety. If Cleveland is up after five innings, we win. If it’s tied, we push – so there’s a little protection baked in.
I like Messick here, I like the spot, and I like Cleveland to get it done early.
