Today, I’m going to go Phillies moneyline at -115.
I like the matchup. You’ve got Aaron Nola on the hill against Colin Rea, who I’m not a big fan of. I do believe with Schwarber, Harper, and the rest of this lineup, they will put up enough runs for the Phillies to win outright on the road in Chicago.
I know Chicago just won a bunch of games and beat up on the Mets, but I think the Phillies will be a different story here. That offense is actually alive.
So give me the Phillies today. Moneyline, straight up. Boom. -115.
Chris Welsh’s Hard Rock Bet of the Day: Mariners -1.5 Run Line (+129)
I am going to be backing Emerson Hancock, who has been awesome this year. He’s got a 2.28 ERA, 2-1 on the season.
The Mariners are hosting the A’s, and I’m going to take the Mariners on the run line, -1.5.
They’re 9-5 at home so far this year. The A’s have been okay on the road, but this is going to be kind of a suppressive offensive ballpark for them. J.T. Ginn has a 3.31 ERA, but I think he’s got a decent chance to get banged around here.
So we are backing the Mariners on the run line, and we’re getting some plus money out of it as well, in the +120 to +130 range.
So let’s go Mariners.
