Best Player Prop Bets and Predictions for Eagles vs. Commanders
Both teams are missing notable players due to injury, but Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook still offers plenty of player prop markets for Sunday night’s game. Below are two of the best player prop bets for Eagles vs. Commanders, supported by football betting insights and trends from the Stats Hub:
Antonio Williams Over 16.5 Longest Reception (-110)
The Commanders selected Antonio Williams in the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft, and the rookie wide receiver is now in line for a much larger role in the offense. Washington’s No. 1 wideout, Terry McLaurin, unfortunately suffered a season-ending injury with a torn left patellar tendon during the Commanders’ Week 6 loss to San Francisco before their bye.
With McLaurin out and not many game-changing options behind veteran wide receiver Stefon Diggs, the Commanders will be counting on Williams moving forward. Luckily for them, he’s having a solid rookie season so far, with 18 receptions for 205 yards and a touchdown through six games despite not starting any of those contests.
The Stats Hub shows that Williams has recorded a reception of 17 or more yards in each of his last two games. He also had arguably the best game of his young NFL career back in Week 1 against this Philadelphia defense, catching four passes for 64 yards and a touchdown, including a 33-yard reception.
- Antonio Williams Over 16.5 Longest Reception (-110)
Saquon Barkley Anytime Touchdown (+165)
Saquon Barkley has been one of many Eagles players dealing with the injury bug this season. The 2024 Offensive Player of the Year missed most of Philadelphia’s Week 2 win over Tennessee with a stinger, left the Week 4 matchup against the Los Angeles Rams in the first quarter with a hamstring injury that forced him to miss the next two games, and then returned in Week 7 against Dallas. However, he was in and out of that game while managing his hamstring and dealing with a back issue.
Barkley didn’t practice Wednesday or Thursday this week but returned Friday afternoon. His status is worth monitoring as kickoff approaches, although the veteran is trending toward playing Sunday night. Even if he’s active, it could be more of the same, with Barkley going in and out of the game as he did last week against Dallas.
When Barkley has been on the field this season, he’s been efficient. His rushing totals may not look impressive because he simply hasn’t had enough carries, but he’s averaging 5.7 yards per attempt.
Barkley carried the ball only seven times last week against Dallas but rushed for 62 yards and scored his first touchdown of the season. He also caught two passes on two targets, providing another potential way to find the end zone.
The Stats Hub notes that Barkley has scored at least one touchdown in each of his last four appearances at Northwest Stadium.
- Saquon Barkley Anytime Touchdown (+165)

Eagles vs. Commanders Preview for SNF
It’s only Week 8, but these two teams look a lot different from when they last played each other back in Week 1. The injury bug has hit both the Eagles and Commanders this season, especially Philadelphia, which can’t seem to catch a break.
Since that Week 1 matchup, which the Eagles won 24-22, Philadelphia has gone 1-5 and is currently on a five-game losing streak. Most of those losses have been winnable games, but at the end of the day, the Eagles lost all of them, and “almost” won’t cut it.
The good news for Philadelphia is that the NFC East is still winnable. If the offense can find a rhythm with backup quarterback Tanner McKee, who is set to make his third consecutive start with Jalen Hurts out due to blood clots, and the team can start to get healthier, the Eagles could still make a run at the division with 10 games remaining. However, it has to start now because a sixth consecutive loss Sunday night may put Philadelphia too far behind.
The Commanders have also dealt with their fair share of injuries this season. Maybe not quite to the extent of Philadelphia, but it’s still been a major issue for them. The most recent blow was losing star wide receiver Terry McLaurin for the season due to injury in Washington’s 23-17 Week 6 loss to San Francisco, right before the bye.
Luckily for Washington, it just had its bye last week and will look to turn things around beginning on Sunday Night Football. Like Philadelphia, Washington is still alive in the NFC East despite its 1-4-1 record, but if the Commanders have any plans of competing for the division title, they need to start winning now.
It may not be the most exciting Sunday night matchup on paper, but this game is extremely important for both sides.
