The PGA Tour heads back to Blaine, Minnesota, for the 2026 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities. The tournament begins on Thursday, July 23, and while it doesn’t feature quite the same loaded field as last week’s British Open, one of golf‘s biggest stars, Scottie Scheffler, will compete alongside 2025 champion Kurt Kitayama and the rest of the 144-player field for a share of the $8.8 million purse.
The 3M Open debuted as an official PGA Tour event in 2019, but Scheffler has notably never competed in the tournament until this year. The World No. 1 will look to capture the title in his first appearance at the event and enters as a heavy betting favorite at +260 to win at Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook. Defending champion Kurt Kitayama owns the next-shortest odds at +2250, but there’s plenty of talent capable of challenging for the trophy.
One notable name missing from this year’s field is 2026 British Open champion Ryan Fox. Shortly after lifting the Claret Jug, Fox withdrew from the 3M Open and will not compete.
