Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City hosts the $100,000 Hard Rock Bet Slot Tournament on Saturday, September 26, a single-day live event that pays real cash to the 25 highest scores. The field is already locked, so if you earned a seat, here is what your Saturday looks like.
How the Tournament Works
It all happens live and in person, in the tournament area in front of Sugar Factory. When you arrive you will be assigned to a wave and a specific machine. Tap in with your Unity Card and play your timed session. The system tracks your total credits along the way, and that number is your score. Put up one of the 25 highest totals in the field and you are in the money.
Saturday’s Timeline
The day runs on a tight clock. All times are ET and can shift, so treat the check-in window as firm:
- Registration and check-in: 2-3:45 p.m.
- Play begins: 4 p.m.
- Results posted: around 7 p.m.
There is no late entry and no second session. Give yourself room for parking and getting to the floor, because missing your wave means missing the tournament.
Where the $100,000 Goes
Every dollar is funded by Hard Rock Bet and split among 25 finishers:
- 1st place: $30,000
- 2nd place: $15,000
- 3rd place: $10,000
- 4th-10th place: $5,000 each
- 11th-25th place: $1,000 each
Winnings land in your verified Hard Rock Bet account within 24 hours of the event. Nothing is paid at the cage or anywhere on property, so keep your account verified and in good standing if you want to collect.

The cash prizes are only part of the reward. Finish your session and you walk away with something no matter where you land on the leaderboard. The rule is simple: you have to actually play. Opting in or booking a room does not count, only finishing your session does.
How the Field Came Together
The 300 seats filled up two ways. The bulk of them, 250 in all, were earned in the Hard Rock Bet Online Casino app during the August Sweeps runs, where players banked entries by opting in and wagering on slots. The other 50 went to the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City host and VIP block, hand-picked by their teams. Anyone who qualified through the app also received a complimentary room night at the property for September 26.

To take your seat on Saturday you must:

- Be physically located in New Jersey
- Hold a verified Hard Rock Bet account in good standing
- Have a registered Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City Unity Card
Keep your government-issued photo ID on you, and make sure it is current. You will need it to check in, and staff can ask to see it again at any point during the event.
