Best Player Prop Bets and Predictions for Cowboys vs. Eagles
Coming into this season, this classic rivalry game would’ve been one of note. However, things haven’t gone according to plan for either the Cowboys or the Eagles through the first six weeks, but that doesn’t mean it can’t still be an entertaining matchup.
Both teams need a win Monday night to stay competitive with the New York Giants in the very winnable NFC East, so make sure to check out the available football betting markets at Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook to get in on the action. Below are two of the best player prop bets for Cowboys vs. Eagles in our Monday Night Football predictions, using insights and trends from the Stats Hub:
Javonte Williams Anytime Touchdown (-170)
Javonte Williams hasn’t been the same running back he was last season from a rushing yards perspective, but he’s finding the end zone at an incredible pace so far this year. He enters Monday night with seven rushing touchdowns through six games, tied for the second most in the NFL behind Christian McCaffrey, Josh Allen, and Jonathan Taylor, who all have eight. Williams also has one receiving touchdown this season.
The Stats Hub notes that Williams has scored at least one touchdown in six of his last seven appearances dating back to last season. The only time he hasn’t found the end zone this season was in the Cowboys’ Week 2 win over Washington, when he rushed for just 30 yards.
Williams had a three-rushing-touchdown performance against Houston in Week 4 and another multi-touchdown game in Week 1, when he rushed for a score and caught another. He faces an Eagles defense Monday night that has allowed eight rushing touchdowns this season.
- Javonte Williams Anytime Touchdown (-170)
Saquon Barkley Over 63.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
One of the biggest storylines of this matchup is that Eagles star running back Saquon Barkley is expected to return after missing the previous two games with a hamstring injury. Barkley suffered the injury early in the first quarter of Philadelphia’s Week 4 loss to the Los Angeles Rams but is trending in the right direction to play Monday night after being limited in practice Thursday and Friday before logging a full session Saturday.
The Cowboys’ defense has been one of the worst units in the NFL this season, allowing 4.7 yards per carry and roughly 150 rushing yards per game. Barkley wasn’t off to a fantastic start before his injury, but he was averaging 5.1 yards per carry.
The Eagles’ run game has been extremely underwhelming without Barkley, totaling just 22 rushing yards in Week 5 against Jacksonville and 35 rushing yards in Week 6 against Carolina. Barkley’s expected return will be a welcome boost to Philadelphia’s offense.
Philadelphia’s offensive line is also getting a much-needed boost with Pro Bowl guard Landon Dickerson being activated off injured reserve Monday ahead of the game. Dickerson has missed the last five games with a knee injury, and his return should help stabilize an offensive line that has undergone significant changes throughout the season.
The Stats Hub notes that Barkley has recorded 83 or more rushing yards in five of his last six home appearances against NFC East opponents while also scoring at least one touchdown in six of his last eight home appearances against divisional opponents.
He may have to shake off some rust early, but with all of the Eagles’ injuries on offense, including backup running backs Tank Bigsby and Will Shipley both being on injured reserve, Barkley could be in for a big night against a struggling Dallas defense.
While he’s expected to play, keep an eye on Barkley’s status as kickoff approaches.
- Saquon Barkley Over 63.5 Rushing Yards (-115)

Cowboys vs. Eagles Preview for MNF
These teams may not be playing the way many expected entering the season, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that this is still one of the fiercest rivalries in the NFL. It could also be considered a must-win game, even though it’s only Week 7, adding even more intrigue to this Monday Night Football matchup.
Much of the Eagles’ struggles so far this season can be directly attributed to the lengthy list of key players who have missed time due to injury, some for extended periods. Statistically, the defense hasn’t been as good as in years past, but it’s still a strong unit and a major reason why Philadelphia has been able to hang around in some of these games despite its 2-4 record.
The Eagles will be without multiple key players once again Monday night, including some on injured reserve and others who have been ruled out ahead of the matchup. Philadelphia will notably be without starting wide receivers DeVonta Smith and Dontayvion Wicks but is expected to get running back Saquon Barkley back after his two-game absence due to a hamstring injury.
Philadelphia has lost four straight games after a 2-0 start, and while a few of those losses were winnable, it still hasn’t been a great product on the field. The Eagles will look to snap their four-game losing streak to keep pace with the NFC East-leading Giants, who are now 4-2-1 on the season.
The Cowboys are also looking to snap a losing streak, but theirs sits at two games entering Monday Night Football. It’s been a frustrating season to this point for Dallas, and it can’t afford to lose another divisional game this early in the year after already falling to the Giants back in Week 1.
A major reason for the Cowboys’ struggles has been their defense. After ranking among the league’s worst last season, Dallas’ defense is once again one of the NFL’s lowest-ranked units to start 2026.
Although the firepower on the Cowboys’ offense is undeniable with wide receivers CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens, Dallas must get Javonte Williams and the run game going. Williams has eight total touchdowns this season, which is impressive, but he’s averaging just 3.7 yards per carry, the same as the Cowboys’ rushing attack as a whole.
