A pair of expected AFC playoff contenders and Super Bowl hopefuls meet in Jacksonville, Florida, on Sunday afternoon when the Jaguars (1-1) host the New England Patriots (1-1) for a 1 p.m. ET kickoff at EverBank Stadium.
The defending AFC champion Patriots suffered an ugly 13-10 loss in the NFL season opener in a Super Bowl rematch against Seattle, and even after a 20-3 win over Pittsburgh in Week 2, there are still far more questions than answers surrounding New England this season. Quarterback Drake Maye is at the top of that list, having thrown four interceptions and only one touchdown through the first two weeks.
The Jaguars earned a relatively dominant victory over Cleveland in Week 1 but then couldn’t get much going offensively in a 20-13 road loss against a tough Denver defense last week. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence and Jacksonville will look to bounce back Sunday but will have their hands full against another tough defense in New England.

Bhayshul Tuten Over 52.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
The Jaguars have been using a running back by committee of sorts, but Bhayshul Tuten has been the lead back, receiving the most carries through the first two weeks of the season. He hasn’t lit up the box score with his rushing production, but Tuten rushed for 66 yards on 4.4 yards per carry in Week 1 against Cleveland and 65 yards on 5.0 yards per carry with a rushing touchdown in Week 2 against Denver.
The Patriots’ defense is a very good unit, but there’s reason to believe Tuten can at least find some success Sunday. New England allowed 97 rushing yards to Seattle in Week 1, including 52 yards on 5.2 yards per carry to rookie running back Jadarian Price, and then allowed 91 total rushing yards to Pittsburgh last week.
Those numbers aren’t great for Tuten to go up against, but 53 or more rushing yards also isn’t too far-fetched. The Stats Hub notes that he has recorded 51 or more rushing yards in each of the Jaguars’ last three games.

TreVeyon Henderson Anytime Touchdown (+165)
Patriots second-year running back TreVeyon Henderson made his season debut last week against Pittsburgh after returning from injury and made an immediate impact. He broke free for a 39-yard touchdown run in the first quarter for New England’s only offensive touchdown of the game and finished with 76 rushing yards.
Henderson showed that explosive, big-play ability during his rookie season last year, and while the Jaguars have a good defense, he could find the end zone once again, just as rookie running back Jonah Coleman did last week for Denver. The Patriots’ passing attack also hasn’t fully found its rhythm this season, which could mean New England leans on Henderson and the run game a bit more.
The Stats Hub notes that Henderson has scored at least one touchdown in each of his last two regular-season appearances.
