The PGA Tour heads north of the border this week for the 2026 RBC Canadian Open. The tournament is set to tee off on Thursday, June 11 and run through Sunday, June 14. The 115th playing of Canada’s National Open Championship returns to TPC Toronto at Osprey Valley’s North Course in Caledon, Ontario, for the second consecutive season – just the eighth venue to host the event since 1977. A field of 147 players will compete for a total purse of $9.8 million, with the winner taking home $1,764,000 and 500 FedExCup points in the third-oldest championship on the PGA Tour calendar.

The Tour arrives in Canada following one of the most dramatic finishes of the season at last week’s Memorial Tournament. J.T. Poston (+15000 at Hard Rock Bet pre-tournament) fired a stunning second round 65 that beat the field scoring average by nine strokes and rode it to a four-shot lead entering Sunday’s final round. But during a marathon 33-hole day caused by weather delays, Poston watched his cushion evaporate by the 12th hole. With his back against the wall, Poston drained a 7-foot birdie putt on the 72nd hole to force a playoff with Ryan Gerard at 12-under, then won on the second extra hole when Gerard three-putted for bogey. The victory – Poston’s fourth on the PGA Tour and the biggest of his career – earned him $4 million and spots in the next three majors, including the U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills in two weeks.

This week’s field is one of the strongest the RBC Canadian Open has seen in recent memory, headlined by four players ranked inside the OWGR Top 10. Matt Fitzpatrick (+1200) and Tommy Fleetwood (+1200) jump out as the co-favorites. Fitzpatrick, currently ranked No. 4 in the world and No. 3 in the FedExCup standings, has been one of the most consistent players on Tour this season with wins at the Valspar Championship and the RBC Heritage. He also finished T20 at this event in 2023. Fleetwood is coming off a strong showing at the Memorial and posted a runner-up finish at the 2023 Canadian Open behind Nick Taylor, who is also in the field this week at 50-1.

Sam Burns (+1400) sits just behind that duo as the only other golfer with odds shorter than 20-1. Burns finished T10 in the 2024 edition at Hamilton and was the runner-up at this very course in 2025, pushing Ryan Fox to four playoff holes before falling short. Fox is also back in the field to defend his title, listed at 60-1 at Hard Rock Bet.

Wyndham Clark (+2250), Kristoffer Reitan (+2250), and Collin Morikawa (+2250) headline the next group of contenders. Clark enters this one riding momentum from his solo third at the Memorial and statement win at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, while Morikawa will play in his first RBC Canadian Open since 2019. Brooks Koepka (+2500), Justin Rose (+3000), and 2024 champion Robert MacIntyre (+3000) follow. MacIntyre won at Hamilton Golf and Country Club two years ago at 16-under and will look to add a second Canadian Open title to his resume. Koepka, like Morikawa, is teeing it up in Canada for the first time since 2019.

After that trio, Viktor Hovland (+3000), 2026 PGA Championship winner Aaron Rai (+3000),  Alex Noren (+3000) and Nicolai Højgaard (+3000) make up the next tier. Hovland was a late addition to the field and will be making his Canadian Open debut, hoping for better results with just one Top-10 finish logged thus far in 2026.

Shane Lowry (+4000), Michael Thorbjornsen (+4000), Keith Mitchell (+4000) and Alex Fitzpatrick (+4000) round out the cluster of golfers with odds shorter than 50-1.  Alex Fitzpatrick comes in red-hot off a T6 finish at the Memorial, where he fired a final round 65.

Canada will have plenty of homegrown representation this week with 18 total players in the field. Corey Conners (+6000) is the shortest-priced Canadian, coming in with a 6th place finish at the 2024 edition and a T20 in 2023. Taylor Pendrith (+6000) and rookie Sudarshan Yellamaraju (+7500), who leads all Canadians in the FedExCup standings this season, are also in the mix, along with Mackenzie Hughes (+10000) and veteran Adam Hadwin (+25000).

Notable longshots include Tony Finau (+6000), Max Homa (+10000), Tom Kim (+10000), 2016 & 2017 back-to-back champion Jhonattan Vegas (+25000), three-time major winner Padraig Harrington (+250000), 2011 winner Sean O’Hair (+250000), 33-time Canadian Open participant Mike Weir (+250000), and Ashton McCulloch (+250000), who will be making his professional debut after firing a 59 at his home course in Kingston, Ontario this past week.
