We laid out the case for a low scoring game above, but let’s look closer at Colombia specifically. This is a stingy defense that knows how to grind out a victory. They scored late and held on for a 1-0 win against Congo DR in the group stage. They scored early and held on for a 1-0 win against Ghana in the Round of 32… and then sandwiched between the two they stifled Cristian Ronaldo and Portugal with a dull 0-0 draw.

Full disclosure, this isn’t a Stats Hub play, it’s a betting on the best player on the field to be the match winner play.
