The San Antonio Spurs look to punch their ticket to the Western Conference Finals for the first time since the 2016-17 NBA season with a Game 6 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night. The Spurs may have the upper hand with a 3-2 series lead, but Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves have home-court advantage in Game 6 with their season on the line.

The Spurs have been dominant all season long, finishing with the second-best record in the NBA, just two games behind the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder. Not many gave the sixth-seeded Timberwolves a chance, but they managed to knock off Nikola Jokić and the Denver Nuggets in six games in the first round and have battled with San Antonio throughout this series despite being significant underdogs.

The Spurs enter with momentum after beating the Timberwolves by nearly 30 points in Game 5, so it will be important to see how Minnesota responds Friday night in a win-or-go-home scenario.
