There’s nothing quite like the Super Bowl. It’s one of the biggest events on the sports calendar each year, attracting hundreds of millions of viewers and creating plenty of football betting opportunities.
As expected, the Super Bowl 61 winner market at Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook is by far the most-bet NFL futures market and has also generated the highest handle. So, which teams are the most popular selections?
Los Angeles Rams Lead Super Bowl 61 Betting
Many believe Los Angeles has assembled a superteam capable of making another championship run. The Rams lead all 32 teams with 16.38% of the total bets and have also generated the highest handle in the market at 12.78%, giving them the strongest overall betting support to win the Lombardi Trophy.
Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills are also looking to finally capture a championship and are drawing notable attention with the second-highest handle. Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals are right behind them with the third-highest handle despite generating just 3.34% of bets to win Super Bowl 61 and coming off a 6-11 season in 2025.
Cowboys Among the Most-Bet Teams to Win Super Bowl 61
It’s been a long time since the Dallas Cowboys were truly America’s Team. Dallas won its first of five Super Bowls in 1971 and later enjoyed a dominant run in the 1990s, winning three championships in four years, including back-to-back titles in 1992 and 1993.
While the Cowboys have experienced plenty of regular-season success in more recent years, they haven’t been able to get over the hump and make a deep playoff run with Dak Prescott at quarterback. Dallas has missed the playoffs in each of the past two seasons and hasn’t advanced beyond the Divisional Round since winning its most recent Super Bowl in 1995.
Even so, the Cowboys are the second most-bet team to win Super Bowl 61 at Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook, accounting for 14.8% of all bets. That level of support is notable for a franchise attempting to return to the Super Bowl for the first time in more than 30 years.
Commanders Drawing Surprisingly Little Super Bowl 61 Action
Despite recently proving they can contend in the NFC, the Washington Commanders are receiving surprisingly little support in the Super Bowl 61 winner market. Washington accounts for just 0.77% of bets and 0.83% of the handle at Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook, putting the team alongside several perceived long shots in terms of overall action.
That lack of interest is particularly notable considering the Commanders finished 12-5 and advanced to the NFC Championship Game during Jayden Daniels’ rookie season in 2024. With Daniels leading a talented roster, Washington may have a stronger case to contend than its modest betting percentages suggest.
Perhaps even more noteworthy is where last year’s Super Bowl participants stand as the preseason gets underway:

To reach the Super Bowl, teams must first make the playoffs. The easiest path to doing so is by winning their respective divisions.
AFC East Winner
The Bills finished second in the AFC East last season and made the playoffs as the No. 6 seed, but they are both the most-bet team and have the highest handle among the four teams to win the division this year.
Buffalo is attracting 71.25% of bets and 70.45% of the handle, generating nearly three times as many wagers as the Patriots, who won the AFC East last season.

The AFC North is known for being a tough division, but two teams are standing out early.
The Baltimore Ravens are the most-bet team to win the division with 48.91% of wagers, while the Bengals have generated the highest handle at 40.69%.
Last year’s AFC North winner, the Pittsburgh Steelers, notably accounts for just 10.18% of bets and 16.25% of the handle.

AFC South Winner
The Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars are generating most of the action in the AFC South.
Houston has a slight edge in total bets at 45.55%, compared to Jacksonville’s 44.26%. However, the Jaguars have generated a slightly higher handle at 47.97%, compared to 42.77% for the Texans.

With Patrick Mahomes returning from injury, the Kansas City Chiefs are the most-bet team to win the AFC West, accounting for 37.68% of wagers.
However, the No. 7-seeded Los Angeles Chargers from last season currently have the highest handle at 32.2%. Last year’s AFC West winner, the Denver Broncos, also remains firmly in the mix with 29.83% of bets and 29.89% of the handle.

The Eagles are the most-bet team to win the NFC East with 52.17% of wagers and have also generated the highest handle at 40.11%.
However, a few of the other teams are also attracting notable attention. The new-look New York Giants have the second-highest handle among the four teams at 28.65%, while the Cowboys have generated the second-most bets at 31.08%.
As for the Commanders, they aren’t seeing much action.

The New Orleans Saints notably have the second-highest handle among the four teams at 24.6% following an impressive end to their 2025 season.
While the Saints, Panthers, and Atlanta Falcons aren’t seeing nearly as much action as the Buccaneers, all three teams have generated a similar number of bets to win the division.

The Arizona Cardinals account for just 0.88% of bets and 2.04% of the handle to win the NFC West, both of which are the lowest percentages for any team to win its respective division.

Miami has generated both the most bets to go Over its win total and the most bets to go Under among all 32 teams. The Over accounts for 72.12% of the Dolphins’ win total bets, while the Under accounts for 27.88%, meaning there is at least some optimism for Miami this season.
Undefeated & Winless Team Futures
