NBA Finals Odds & Betting Markets

The NBA Finals begin Wednesday night with the Western Conference champion San Antonio Spurs hosting the Eastern Conference champion New York Knicks at Frost Bank Center for Game 1. The Spurs finished as the No. 2 seed in the West and with the second-best record in the NBA, while the Knicks began to find their stride toward the end of January and never really looked back en route to the No. 3 seed in the East.

While the Spurs enter as the betting favorite to win this year’s NBA Finals after taking down the defending champion Oklahoma City Thunder in seven games in the Western Conference Finals, the Knicks have been dominant throughout the postseason. New York hasn’t lost a game since April 23 in the first round against Atlanta and has won 11 straight games, including back-to-back sweeps of Philadelphia and Cleveland.

The Knicks are averaging 121.5 points per game over their last eight contests and posted a +89 point differential against Philadelphia in the Eastern Conference Semifinals and a +77 point differential against Cleveland in the Eastern Conference Finals. However, Victor Wembanyama and the Spurs will be New York’s biggest challenge yet.
