We’ve got Cam Schlittler on the mound today against the Boston Red Sox. Schlittler was a little shaky in his last start, but I don’t expect that to happen two in a row.
That being said, let’s roll with Schlittler and the Yankees today, who has been the frontrunner for the Cy Young in the American League all season.

Talking about a frontrunner for the Cy Young, how about Chris Sánchez?
He’s on the mound today for the Phillies, going up against Cade Cavalli. Cade Cavalli has a four ERA. Sánchez has an ERA under two.
Obviously, this is in favor of the Phillies, but I was a little surprised to get a half-decent number on the Phillies to lead by at least one run after five innings. It’s available at -110 – not the greatest number in the world, but it’s a serviceable one.
Sánchez is who I’m banking on to be able to hold down the fort. A little offense gets us across the finish line here.
They just have to be up by one run through the first five. I’m not playing the full game here, though that is definitely a playable piece.
When you do first fives, you’re really backing the starting pitchers or playing against the opposing starting pitcher. I’m doing a little bit of both. But this is about Chris Sánchez holding this offense down.
