Joe Pisapia’s Hard Rock Bet of the Day: Cubs -1.5 (+118)
I’m going with the Cubbies -1.5 on the run line – can grab this one at +118.
Why? Shota Imanaga is going up against Brandon Sproat – Shota has a 1.74 ERA at home this season.
He has been nearly untouchable at Wrigley.
Go Cubbies.
Chris Welsh’s Hard Rock Bet of the Day: Shane McClanahan Over 5.5 K’s (-113)
I’m going to jump into the strikeout market: we’re going with my boy Shane McClanahan. McClanahan over 5.5 strikeouts is the play tonight, going up against the Orioles.
The Orioles are about middle-of-the-pack against lefties so far this season. There’s some really good strikeout potential in this matchup.
McClanahan has obviously been a little wafty when it comes to putting up big strikeout totals, but he did just strike out seven Toronto Blue Jays in his last outing. He’s had 6+ in two of his last four starts.
I think this is a really good matchup against Baltimore, and if McClanahan is on, we should be hitting this easily.
