Joe Pisapia’s Hard Rock Bet of the Day: Phillies Moneyline (+100)
I’m taking the Phillies on the moneyline today at +100. Getting plus money for them on the road. It is against the Los Angeles Dodgers, I get that.
But Wheeler’s on the mound against Wrobleski, and Wrobleski has been rough lately. I think the Phillies lineup will handle him pretty well, and I think Zack Wheeler has been tough to handle for the rest of the National League.
So give me Wheeler and the Phillies to win outright, plus money today at +100.
Chris Welsh’s Hard Rock Bet of the Day: Padres Moneyline (-102)
I’m going to go back Lucas Giolito and the Padres. San Diego moneyline going against the Nationals.
The Nationals are bringing out Paxton Schultz with an ERA over five. And did you know nobody has lost fewer games on the road in MLB than the Padres? They have one of the best records out there at 15-8.
Almost a better loss record versus their home side.
So, we are going to back them at almost even money. It’s a little weird because Giolito is out there, but we’ve seen some good signs here.
And maybe, just maybe, Fernando Tatís Jr. is going to help support this.
So, we’re just straight-up Padres moneyline at around -102.
