The 2026 World Cup Round of 32 continues on Wednesday afternoon at Lumen Field in Seattle, Washington, as Belgium gets set to take on Senegal. The winner of this match will face the winner of the late game between the United States and Bosnia and Herzegovina on July 6 at the same venue, while the loser’s World Cup campaign will unfortunately come to an end.

There’s a lot at stake for both sides, but let’s start with the Red Devils out of Belgium. You could make the argument that this game simply means more to Rudi Garcia’s side, as a disappointing group stage exit at Qatar in 2022 preceded an underwhelming showing in the 2026 group stage. Belgium opened Group G play with a 1-1 draw against Egypt thanks to an own goal from Mohamed Hany, and followed that up with another draw against Iran – this time 0-0. With their knockout round hopes hanging in the balance, Belgium’s offense finally woke up in their final game against New Zealand, erupting for five goals from four different scorers in a 5-1 rout.

Senegal’s path to this point was similar, but for different reasons. The Lions of Teranga were tasked with facing France and Norway right out of the gate in Group I, and stopping Kylian Mbappé and Erling Haaland proved to be too much; both superstars notched a brace and stole three points from Pape Thiaw’s squad despite respectable efforts in both contests. Like Belgium, however, Senegal rode a five-goal outburst in their final game against Iraq to secure their place in the knockout round and set the stage for this afternoon’s meeting.

Belgium vs. Senegal Odds Today

Belgium gets the slight edge on the three-way moneyline at Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook in one of the tightest games of the knockout rounds thus far. Keep in mind that this market is settled based on the result of the game’s first 90 minutes plus any additional stoppage time. If the score remains tied after regulation, the draw will win.

  • 🇧🇪 Belgium (+115)
  • ✋ Draw (+225)
  • 🇸🇳 Senegal (+275)

Belgium vs. Senegal Odds to Advance

If you’re simply looking to predict who will move on to face USA or Bosnia, check out the ‘To Advance’ market. You can find this market under the ‘Popular’ tab within the matchup on your mobile app or the desktop site. Unlike the three-way moneyline, this market includes the entire game: the first 90 plus stoppage time, the full 30 minutes of extra time, and penalty kicks if necessary.

  • 🇸🇳 Senegal to Advance (+140)

Belgium vs. Senegal Prediction

If the first few matches of the knockout stage have taught us anything, it’s that they can be unpredictable. That’s why Hard Rock Bet’s Stats Hub is here to help, providing players with endless streaks, trends, data points and insights for every match during the 2026 World Cup.

Here’s one angle highlighted by Stats Hub that stuck out to me.

Belgium vs. Senegal Over 2.5 Goals (-120)

Despite Belgium’s offensive struggles during their first two group stage matches, I’m rolling with Over 2.5 goals in this one. The logic revolves around Senegal’s recent World Cup track record, as each of their previous six matches in the competition have exceeded this total.

Senegal fell to England 3-0 in the Round of 16 back in 2022, and followed that up by allowing both France and Norway to put three into the back of the net during group play to begin the 2026 rendition.

Belgium is obviously the more concerning side in this equation, as their games have produced little fireworks outside of the get-right game against New Zealand with their backs against the wall. That being said, Senegal’s leaky defense could allow the Red Devils to get back on track and give us another game to remember this afternoon.

Both Teams to Score (-165) is another viable option for this game, as pointed out by Stats Hub. That market has cashed in four of Belgium’s last five World Cup knockout games played in North America, South America or the Caribbean, which is an encouraging sign for the total to get home.

World Cup Futures for Belgium, Senegal

The stage is set and only one team can advance. Today’s winner will go on to face the United States or Bosnia and Herzegovina in Seattle on July 6, followed by a July 10 showdown in Los Angeles against either Portugal, Croatia, Spain or Austria.

After that, there’s a good chance that France, the tournament favorites, will be waiting for them with a trip to the Final on the line. While that path is certainly daunting, if you think either side can make a run and lift the trophy, here’s a look at their current futures prices:

Belgium World Cup Futures
