Nearly one year after former Governor Snyder denied Michigan’s iGaming proposal, a set of bipartisan legislation was approved by new Governor Gretchen Whitmer. This set of bills would legalize several forms of iGaming in Michigan, including the following:
- HB 4311 – The Lawful Internet Gaming Act: Would allow the Michigan Gaming Control Board to issue licenses for online and mobile casinos.
- HB 4916 – The Lawful Sports Betting Act: Would legalize sports betting in Michigan casinos, online and mobile.
