The Tampa Bay Rays and New York Yankees meet one final time in the regular season Thursday night at Yankee Stadium, with both teams already assured of their place in the American League playoff bracket.
The Yankees enter tonight’s matchup with a 2-1 lead in the four-game series after a 9-2 victory Wednesday night, leaving Tampa Bay with a chance to earn a split in the finale. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. ET.
Tampa Bay clinched its first AL East title since 2021 and the American League’s No. 1 seed earlier this week, securing home-field advantage throughout the AL playoffs.
