The Philadelphia Phillies (29-27) continue their West Coast road trip Friday night with the start of a three-game series against the defending back-to-back World Series champion Los Angeles Dodgers (36-20) at iconic Dodger Stadium. These two teams last met in October, when the Dodgers eliminated the Phillies in four games during the NLDS.

Despite Los Angeles winning last year’s playoff series, Philadelphia played the Dodgers tough throughout the season. The Phillies went 4-2 against Los Angeles during the 2025 regular season, and all three of their losses in the NLDS came by two runs or fewer, including the heartbreaking 11th-inning mistake by reliever Orion Kerkering that allowed the Dodgers to score the series-clinching run en route to another World Series title.

After a slow start to 2026, the Phillies have begun turning things around under interim manager Don Mattingly and are coming off a three-game sweep of San Diego. Veteran right-hander Zack Wheeler is scheduled to start Friday’s opener and will look to continue his dominance since returning from injury. Wheeler owns a 4-0 record with a 1.67 ERA across six starts this season.

The Dodgers will counter with left-hander Justin Wrobleski, who, after an excellent start to the season, has allowed 14 earned runs across his last three outings. Despite those struggles, Los Angeles remains one of baseball’s most dangerous teams and enters Friday riding a five-game winning streak with the second-best record in MLB.

Below are two featured picks you can find in the Stats Hub for Friday night’s NLDS rematch:

Phillies vs. Dodgers Best Bet: Andy Pages Over 1.5 Hits+Runs+RBI

Andy Pages enters Friday’s action with 50 RBIs, the most in MLB. The Dodgers’ center fielder is also among the league leaders in both batting average and hits.

Pages is riding a five-game hitting streak, including three consecutive multi-hit performances, one of which was a four-hit game. He has also recorded eight RBIs and scored seven runs over his last five games. With that in mind, you could target his runs or RBIs prop for higher odds, but combining all three categories provides a safer play.

It’ll be a tough matchup Friday night with Zack Wheeler on the mound for Philadelphia, but Pages’ Hits+Runs+RBI prop still stands out as a strong option.

Phillies vs. Dodgers Moneyline Pick: Phillies +100

The Phillies are 20-8 since Don Mattingly took over for Rob Thomson as manager and have completely turned their season around. There was plenty of skepticism surrounding this team heading into its West Coast trip to face San Diego and Los Angeles, but Philadelphia answered some questions by sweeping the Padres in three games earlier this week.

Now, the Dodgers present an even bigger challenge, but the Phillies have played them well recently. In addition to sweeping the Padres, Philadelphia has won eight consecutive road games against National League opponents. That stretch includes a three-game sweep of the Pittsburgh Pirates and a series win over an up-and-coming Miami Marlins team.

With Wheeler on the mound and looking every bit like a Cy Young-caliber pitcher again, the Phillies offer value as a road underdog Friday night in Los Angeles.
