The game opens on a green shamrock background with the three-column board centered on screen and the bonus wheel mounted above it. Four jackpot meters (Grand, Major, Minor and Mini) run along the top, all actively building as you play.
Symbol-wise, the construction theme runs all the way through. Tape measures, traffic cones and buzz saws fill the lower positions, while the three pigs occupy the high-value spots with their distinct contractor personalities. Game Features: Four Ways the Wheel Can Pay
The central mechanic in Huff N’ Xtra Puff is the Wheel Feature, triggered by landing 3 Buzz Saws in the base game. The wheel can land on the Handyman Feature, Big Bad Wolf Feature, Mansions Feature, or any of the four jackpot tiers. Here’s what each feature does:
Free Games Feature
Landing 3 or more Hard Hats and/or Construction Pig symbols during the base game triggers 6 Free Games. During the feature, landing 2 or more Hard Hats awards an extra spin; landing 3 Buzz Saws awards 3 extra spins. As the feature plays out, houses build and frames upgrade across the board. When the feature ends, the wolf comes in and blows the houses away to reveal your prizes.
Handyman Feature
When the Wheel lands here, each Buzz Saw on the board drops to the bottom of its reel, adding straw frames or upgrading existing frames on every reel it touches along the way. Hard Hats continue building and upgrading frames throughout. Landing 3 Buzz Saws awards 3 extra spins; landing 2 or more Hard Hats awards an extra spin. The wolf closes it out, blowing the houses to reveal the wins.
Big Bad Wolf Feature
Straw frames are added at the positions where the Buzz Saws triggered the Wheel. From there, the rules follow a similar path — Hard Hats build or upgrade frames, and if the Wolf symbol lands, it evaluates any straw or wood frame positions and upgrades them automatically, as if a Hard Hat had landed there. When the feature wraps, the wolf blows the houses away and the prizes are revealed.
Mansions Feature
This one plays differently. Brick Frames (the top tier) lock directly onto the Buzz Saw positions that triggered the Wheel. If you manage to cover every reel position with Brick Frames and then land additional Hard Hats, 10x your total bet is awarded on the spot. Same extra-spin rules apply (2+ Hard Hats = 1 extra spin, 3 Buzz Saws = 3 extra spins), and the wolf reveals all prizes at the end.
Jackpots
The Wheel can also skip the features entirely and land directly on a jackpot prize. The four tiers are static prizes that scale with your bet size, so the more you’re wagering, the more each tier is worth. All four meters are visible and building throughout your session.
