The Netherlands and Germany are set to open their 2026/27 UEFA Nations League campaigns on Thursday afternoon at Johan Cruijff Arena in Amsterdam. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:45 p.m. ET.
The latest chapter of the longtime European rivalry also marks the beginning of new eras for both national teams. Barcelona legend Xavi Hernández will manage his first match for the Netherlands, while Jürgen Klopp makes his Germany debut after taking over the national team this summer.
Xavi begins his tenure with several familiar names at his disposal, including Virgil van Dijk, Cody Gakpo, Ryan Gravenberch, Tijjani Reijnders and Brian Brobbey.
