Joe Pisapia’s Hard Rock Bet of the Day: PIT-PHI F5 Under 3.5 (+128)
I’m going back to the Phillies and Pirates today.
You’ve got Zack Wheeler and Paul Skenes, so I’m going to do under 3.5 runs for the first five innings at plus money, +128, with those two studs on the hill towing the rubber, as they like to say in the major leagues.
Chris Welsh’s Hard Rock Bet of the Day: Royals F5 Moneyline (+110)
This might be a little unconventional, as I’m going to play a first five innings prop, but I’m going to back an underdog. It’s a plus-money first five, and it is the Kansas City Royals going up against the Tampa Bay Rays.
You’ve got Shane McClanahan vs. Seth Lugo. Lugo can go deep into games and maintain the runs that are given up. That’s what I like. McClanahan is the thing that I’m picking on a little bit because there’s been a lot of conversation that he’s kind of wearing down a little bit on the back half of the year.
The Royals got Bobby Witt Jr. back, which is great. I think the Royals might just be a little bit sneaky in this one. This is also kind of going against McClanahan and these little fades. I think he might need more of an extended break coming up here.
Obviously, if we tie, we’re solid. We just push here. But if the Royals can get on the board, this is a plus-money play. So, Royals first five moneyline is my Hard Rock Bet of the day.
