Monday Night Football gives us another chance to find out who’s real and who’s just surviving, and this week I’m planting my flag firmly on the side of the Miami Dolphins. Yeah—I’m taking Miami +3 on the road, in freezing conditions, and I feel good about it.

Most people hear “South Florida team playing in the cold” and immediately want to run the other way. But here’s the thing: this Dolphins team has shown they don’t need Tua to sling it all over the yard to win games. They’ve proven they can grind it out, control the line of scrimmage, and lean on a run game that travels anywhere—snow, wind, sleet, you name it. Good teams win outside their comfort zone, and Miami has quietly started doing just that. I like them to cover the spread here.
De’Von Achane Anytime TD
And speaking of leaning on the ground game, let me make this clear: I like De’Von Achane to score multiple touchdowns. The guy is explosive, he’s healthy, and Mike McDaniel knows how to scheme him into space better than almost anyone in the NFL. When the weather turns ugly, creativity in the run game becomes a weapon—and McDaniel has a full arsenal.
Which brings me to the bigger storyline here: if the Dolphins can claw their way back to 7–7, it becomes one of the underrated stories of the NFL season. A team that started uneven, battled injuries, took its lumps, and still found a way to stay in the mix.
