Joe Pisapia’s Hard Rock Bet of the Day: Giants Under 2.5 Total Runs (+118)
I’m going to take the Giants run total under 2.5 at +118. Why? Because, well, they’ve already beaten the Dodgers twice and I don’t think they’re going to sweep the Dodgers. Shohei Ohtani is on the mound, where he brings his 0.97 ERA.
Despite the struggles at the plate for Ohtani, towing the rubber has not been a problem this year.
And again, that Giants offense – although it showed some signs of life the last two days – three days in a row might be pushing it. So, I’m going to go the under 2.5 runs here today.
Chris Welsh’s Hard Rock Bet of the Day: Corbin Carroll Over 1.5 Total Bases (+125)
I’m going to jump into a total bases market, and I’m going to homer out a little bit. I’m going with my boy Corbin Carroll over 1.5 total bases at plus money.
He’s going up against Kumar Rocker – and guess what, everybody? He stinks.
Lefties kill him. He’s giving up a .299 average against lefties. He’s giving up homers. He’s giving up triples. That’s something that Corbin Carroll excels at.
One good, solid hit. Similar to last week’s Seiya Suzuki play. Corbin Carroll is going to lock in.
I think it’s a really solid matchup in this World Series rematch from a couple years ago. It’s more about that I don’t think Kumar Rocker is any good, and I think Carroll is going to make some solid contact.
He’s one of the few guys that can turn singles into doubles, and that’s all we need. We need a double, we need a triple – anything like that. Even two hits will get us there. So, over 1.5 on total bases for Corbin Carroll today.
