Joe Orrico’s Hard Rock Bet of the Day: Bubba Chandler Over 5.5 Strikeouts (+149)
This number felt strangely low, and I understand it, but I’m taking Bubba Chandler strikeouts. This was actually an alternate line because I kept seeing it at 4.5.
And I guess over his last couple of games it makes sense why it would be a little bit lower since he had four, four, and three strikeouts. But the previous two starts, not his most recent one, but the two before that, it just didn’t seem like he was right. He was still getting into the rhythm of things.
His last time out for the Pirates, it was six innings of one-run ball. He did only have three strikeouts, but he is taking on the Rangers, who are tied for the highest strikeout rate in baseball as a team at 25.2%.
So Over 5.5, a relatively modest number, and juiced to +150. You probably won’t get a better number than that.
