FantasyPros: Best Bets for NFL Week 15

With betting markets heating up entering NFL Week 15, we’ve landed on two running backs who look primed for big performances — and made them our Hard Rock Bet “Best Bets of the Week.”

Travis Etienne: Set to Smash

We start with Travis Etienne Jr., who draws a dream matchup against a New York Jets defense that has completely fallen apart against opposing running backs since moving on from Quinnen Williams. The Jets have allowed RB finishes of RB8, RB1, RB4, and RB3 in their last four games, and nine different running backs have hit 62+ rushing yards against them in their last seven contests. Seven backs have topped 65 yards, which aligns perfectly with Etienne’s rushing prop of over 64.5 yards — a number we both love this week.

• The Bet: Travis Etienne over 64.5 rushing yards

Etienne himself has been on a tear, finishing inside the top 10 running backs in six of his last seven games, including top-seven finishes in three of his last four. And while the Jaguars teased using Tank Bigsby at the goal line, two costly fumbles last week make it unlikely they go away from the red-hot Etienne — especially after he handled 20 carries, scored twice, and played nearly 72% of the snaps. It’s wheels-up for Etienne against the Jets.

TreVeyon Henderson: The “Prince Who Was Promised” Week

Our next Hard Rock Best Bet focuses on TreVeyon Henderson, who finally gets a matchup where everything lines up for a true RB1 performance. Despite the perception that Henderson has recently “broken out,” he has only finished inside the top 12 running backs twice this season — RB4 in Week 10 and RB3 in Week 11. Even in this encouraging recent stretch, he has not otherwise finished higher than RB20.

Still, with the Patriots coming off a bye and entering what is essentially the biggest game left on their schedule, Henderson is set up to be featured. The Bills’ run defense has struggled, and New England will need its best playmakers on the field. This feels like a spot where the Patriots lean on him heavily.

I’m predicting 100+ scrimmage yards and a touchdown, with an explosive play mixed in. In our rankings, Henderson sits at RB13, but we both believe he performs more like a top-12 back this week — right in the same tier of excitement as Etienne.
