It’s been a season to forget for Mbappé at Real Madrid that ended with millions of fans across the globe signing a petition to kick him out of the club… but he still scored 42 goals in just 44 games. I’m not going to let that noise distract me from how dominant he is every time he steps on the pitch.

Merino scored a career high 9 goals for his club in 2024/2025, but he was even more involved for Spain – scoring eight goals in just ten games. That’s the kind of run that could produce a Golden Boot if all breaks well. Sure, it’s a longshot, but the odds match.
