The first three weeks of the NFL season are in the books, but Hard Rock Bet’s $2 Million NFL Survivor Contest is just getting started.
The free-to-enter contest officially begins with NFL Week 4 and runs through Week 17, with eligible players in Florida competing for a share of a $2 million cash prize pool.
The format is simple: pick one NFL team to win each week and keep advancing for as long as your selections win. Make it through Week 17 and you’ll earn an equal share of the prize pool with everyone else still standing.
Eligible players can enter the contest and make their Week 4 selection directly in the Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook app.
How Does Hard Rock Bet’s NFL Survivor Contest Work?
There are no point spreads to worry about in Survivor. Your selection simply needs to win the game.
A winning pick keeps you alive for another week, while a loss or tie eliminates your entry from the contest. Failing to make a selection for the week also results in elimination.
The other major rule to keep in mind is that each NFL team can only be selected once during the entire contest. Once you’ve used a team, you won’t be able to pick that team again later in the season.

If your first survivor entry elsewhere didn’t make it through September and you’re looking for a second chance survivor contest, Hard Rock Bet’s Week 4 start offers you a fresh opportunity to get involved.
This isn’t a restart or a second-chance version of an earlier contest – Week 4 is the starting line for everyone.
Hard Rock Bet’s contest was scheduled to begin after the first three weeks of the NFL season, so every eligible participant starts from the same place. No picks have been made and all 32 teams remain available for all participants heading into Week 4.
Starting in Week 4 also gives players three weeks of games to consider before making their first selection. We’ve already gotten an early look at every team before having to put a Survivor entry on the line.
Two Weeks Will Require Two Survivor Picks
Most weeks require one selection, but there are two exceptions later in the contest.
Week 12, which includes the Thanksgiving slate, and Week 16, during Christmas week, will each require two separate winning selections.
The same rules still apply to both picks. Every team can only be used once during the contest, so surviving those double-pick weeks will require two unused teams to win.
How to Enter Hard Rock Bet’s NFL Survivor Contest
The contest is free to enter and is available exclusively to eligible players in Florida.
Participants must be at least 21 years old, meet the contest’s account and deposit eligibility requirements and be physically located in Florida when making their selections.
Picks are made directly through the Survivor section of the Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook app. Players can make selections in advance and change a pick up until the selected game’s scheduled kickoff.
Once that game begins, the selection is locked.
Survivor Starts with NFL Week 4
Week 4 begins Thursday, October 1, which means the wait for the Hard Rock Bet Survivor Contest is almost over.
The first goal is clear: find one winner and make it to Week 5.
From there, the list of teams you can still use gets shorter, the decisions get tougher and the field begins working its way toward a share of the $2 million prize pool.
