The Jacksonville Jaguars are in New Orleans to take on the Saints during Week 1 of the NFL preseason at the Caesars Superdome on Saturday. Neither team is expected to play many, if any, starters following a joint practice earlier this week and the decision to prioritize the health of key players.

Regardless of whether he was originally going to play, 2026 eighth overall pick Jordyn Tyson left Thursday’s practice early with a hamstring injury, likely ruling out the rookie wide receiver for Saturday’s game. Tyson is expected to be a key piece of the Saints’ offense this upcoming season and currently has the fourth-shortest odds (+650) to win the 2026 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year Award at Hard Rock Bet Sportsbook.
