It’s Week 12 of the NFL season, and while my Chiefs nearly sent me into early retirement last Sunday, the grind doesn’t stop. We’re sitting just under .500 on the year (27-28), which means one good week puts us back in the black — exactly where we belong.

This feels short. Whether it’s Mason Rudolph or a banged-up Aaron Rodgers under center, Chicago is the healthier, steadier team at home. I’ll lay the field goal.

2️⃣ Jets +13.5 at Ravens

Ugly pick? Maybe. But Lamar Jackson’s been gimpy and hesitant to run. With Tyrod Taylor starting for New York, I’ll gladly take nearly two touchdowns.

3️⃣ Seahawks -13.5 at Titans

Seattle’s defense is about to feast on Cam Ward. Tennessee might not crack double digits, and Pete Carroll’s crew needs a bounce-back after that Rams loss. Lay the big number.

4️⃣ Cardinals +3 vs Jaguars

Jacksonville has been a roller coaster — dominant one week, deflated the next. Arizona at home getting a field goal feels right. I’ll grab the points.

5️⃣ Browns +3.5 at Raiders

The mismatch of the week. Cleveland’s D-line versus Vegas’s O-line could get ugly. Myles Garrett might break a record; I don’t care who plays QB for the Browns — they’ll cover the spread.
